Funciona e um disco SMR lento a escrever, na leitura nao se nota diferença, funciona em Windows e MAC (com a respectiva formatação) Funciona sem dificuldades em XBOX no entanto em PS5 devido ao firmware do disco ser identificado com 80001 megas, culpa e minha aprende a ler sem a mania que que sou chico esperto Recomendo se nao for para ser usado para constantes leituras

It is a perfect product I bought to replace the one I had, there are a few problems with them. 1 they don’t really ever seem to switch off. 2. You can notice the game quality of the hdd game and the ssd game. 3 my old one eventually broke after 3 years

Regards towards Amazon have been great since I became a member. However receiving an item that is not the color advertised and that says Xbox on it, which is not favored to someone that experienced the ring of death with their last Xboxs. This item also fits a description like what is sold through Ebay.

Jai profité dune promo relativement alléchantes ce qui ma permis dacquérir 2 produits, vite reçu et vite démonter (les boitiers Star Wars a la poubelle) puis installer les disques nu dans un petit nas maison. Top, ils sont performant, fiable et peu bruyant ! Ils ont tout pour plaire surtout si vous lavez moins chère !

Ive owned a few of these drives for a while now (One of these and two black ones). I was close to sending this one back recently as I started to get timeouts and USB disconnects. However, I did a bit of testing and found that: - It was easy to reproduce - random read (or write) I/Os towards the end of the disk did the trick. - It happened in Windows and Linux. - It also happened when I tried the same tests on the other drives, which had so far caused no issues. What I think is happening is the operations, which are longer because of the shingling process, were simply taking too long and the drive was becoming saturated. Once a timeout threshold is reached, the I/O will be retried - you will see this in the System log in Windows, or dmesg in Linux (not sure how logging is done on Macs as I dont use them, but it will be similar). Too many retries and the OS will reset the USB port and its downhill from there. The simple rule here is you cannot use these drives for anything remotely day-to-day. Use them to store and retrieve data long term and try not to do much more with it. In my case all I was doing was some downloads directly onto the drive (multiple parallel downloads hence random I/O). Instead do your work on better disks - either internal HDDs/SSDs or non-shingled USB drives, and then copy the data across. Still, the price per capacity is good on these. As long as you know their limitations.

Not compatible with the new Xbox X series. I read reviews before I purchased and thought it would be.

works a treat, 80% of my games have been moved over to this external HD and run from this fine no, noticeable delay in run times or load. Certain games that are s/x series enhanced remain on the internal HD I now have 1.5tb of games on the external HD which are downloads of games i want to try now that space isnt an issue :) Do not hesitate, this is a great buy also came with 2 months ultimate pass.

Using this for PC data storage, not for a Xbox. Completely happy so far. Hope it is long term reliable, as TBs of data being lost would be a major **** moment
