Crashed after 6 months

I cant believe Seagate is able to actually market this as a Firecuda drive. This is NOT a Firecude drive! Firecuda drives are Hybrid mechanical drives with a fast SSD cache. I got this enclosure on sale for $118 and thought it would be a great deal since Hybrid drives are as expensive as SSDs now most of the time. Well I did a crystaldisk benchmark on my old 2TB firecuda hybrid drive and its 4 times as fast as this one. I added a picture, obviously the higher numbers are the ACTUAL Firecuda Drive. This is a basic Seagate Compute drive, I took it apart and its a drive that you can get on Amazon for $144. Dont buy this at full price and expect a Firecuda drive. Also Razer Chroma doesnt detect it at all. I cant believe its legal for Seagate to sell this marketing it as a Firecuda drive.

It’s a piece of crap I just got it doesn’t work makes weird noises on my PlayStation 4 it said unsupported, don’t waste your money, yup definitely a scam.

Stopped working for me didn’t even last year this product is not reliable I have over 20 games that, I can’t play now .

Bought this for my 13yo sons Ps4 for Christmas. I told him keep it off his ps4 so it doesnt get to hot and it should last him years... Drive failed after 5 months of use. Im new to Seagate and this is definitely going to stop me from buying any more HDDs from them in the future.
