The set up was fairly easy, and the hard drive works like a dream. I have no complaints and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for one. It was definitely worth the investment.

great product for its price

Worked great for less than a year. Than started beeping and would no longer work. Pay a little more and getter a more reliable hard drive

I’m rating this 2 Stars because of the look of the product. First, the shipping was 2 days later than expected. Then, upon hooking the drive up, it began to push power through the USB port almost frying my laptop and then completely stopped working. I’m sure this was just a faulty unit but I would definitely expect better of this brand. (Used this brand in the past with minimal to no issues)

Ive tested a lot of hard drives in my career in IT, and while Im not a fan of Seagate per se, I have no problem with their products.
