Shani Greene-Dowdell has another hit on her hands. An excellent page-turner with absorbing plots and surprise endings. Filled with shocking behavior, lust, romance, deceit and betrayal, all the trimmings that make for a great novel. The author reminds us that no one really knows what goes on behind locked doors in an upscale community, and not all that glitters is necessarily gold.

Oh my goodness this book was too damn good. Secrets of a kept woman are something else. You just dont know whom to trust. The people that youre close to are the ones that will stab you in the back. Shayla should have put an old fashioned ass whooping on Rhonda because she thought that she was slick.

I gave Secrets of a Kelp Woman a five star rating because its a good book and I would recommend this book to all of my family and friends to read and enjoy I advised you to on and purchase this book now and ENJOY

Not what I expected off one of my favorite authors but it was okay. I literally skimmed the entire book, I never do that. So for that, this book gets a meh.

I have never wrote a review before but I felt the need to write one for this book. If I could put no stars then I would, because thats how dissatisfied I was with this book. This book actually had the makings to be a wonderful book if the author would stop rambling on and on and on before she gets to the point. It takes so long for the action to begin because the characters are talking to themselves for as much as three pages. I love long books but dont ramble to make the book longer. Get to the point

You know a book is good when you want to cuss out and slap everybody including the author lol. Shayla...I wanted smack a backbone into. Rhonda, I wanted to kill slowly and Titus just torture him. All the messiness was so emotional. But I kept rooting for Shayla. Im off to book 2. Its getting way to good.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Ronnie was just plain foul for going after Shaylas man after all they had been through together.

Great reading and cant wait to read the second part!!!
