> 3 dayI usually read books set in the early 1900s and longer than 250 pages. In between those emotional books I take a break and get something light and easy to read. So I chose this because I had previously read Secrets of Married womenby Carol Mason which I thought was excellent... Similiar titles blah blah ... you get where I am going. This is a good book to read on a Saturday afternoon while your hubby goes out to play golf. I am not too familiar with African American lifestyles as I am South African but as a woman I sure can relate to some of what the characters go through. This is a quick read, light-hearted with a sweet ending. The Gangster Husband is a bit too brave (aka: whack) in some scenes and too playa playa, which is annoying but other than that - good read. The friends characters are realistic and we all have them so I read it going ahhh thats ..... from my friends and this one is so and so

> 3 dayShani Greene-Dowdell has another hit on her hands. An excellent page-turner with absorbing plots and surprise endings. Filled with shocking behavior, lust, romance, deceit and betrayal, all the trimmings that make for a great novel. The author reminds us that no one really knows what goes on behind locked doors in an upscale community, and not all that glitters is necessarily gold.

> 3 dayThis book was recommended by UniqueWords,LLC. Let me tell you, I have wanted to beat Rhonda’s ass for a good hour straight. Shayla poor thing was so naive sometimes but I’m glad everything unfolded the way it did. I’m looking forward to continuing this story with everyone. I’m so glad Gladys ended on a good note though.

> 3 dayI liked this book from beginning to end. It was about 3 friends who stayed friends since their school days. I dont want to give away the story line, but one of the friends was so foul it was unbelievable. I liked how the story ended. It wasnt your typical ending. All I can say is never tell your friends whats going on in your marriage. Some friends are not as happy for you as you might think they are. I will look for more books from this author. I really enjoyed it.
