I bought these to minimize the number of holes I had to drill in my walls to run my security cameras. I was able to run two cameras per power cord with each of these and have had zero issues with them. They also fit together snug so I dont have to worry about them coming unplugged when its windy outside. And I went around and checked them several times now since weve had 50+ mph wind gusts since Ive installed them and not a bit of movement when I tried to push them together to make sure they hadnt started to pull apart.

I purchased this cable to split an AC adapter between a few game consoles in my game room and cut the amount of wall warts in my setup down, and for my purpose they work very well. They power my consoles just fine and I have no issues Im happy with them. Im only deducting a star because the quality of the cables is slightly on the cheap side and I would be a little concerned that the small wire gauge used wont be enough to accommodate higher draw devices or handle any sort of rough use.

I purchased the 1 to 2 splitter December 2019. Current carrying capacity is stated as 5A in and 3A per branch. Wires looked a little small to me at 0.115 and 0.100 OD for the black 2-conductor plus insulation. Cutting one apart and measuring the wires shows 27 and 29AWG wires were used. Ampacity is fairly subjective depending on how theyre used and how hot the wires are allowed to get but I wouldnt recommend these for more than a couple amps total. I ran 1.7A straight through one leg for about an hour and the wires were only a little warm.

Good quality power splitter x2 good value.

My DVR didn’t come with enough power ports for the cameras. This solved it.
