Using this splitter to power an array of external USB3 from a single DC supply. Seagate drives require a converter from this splitters 5.5mm x 2.1mm male plug to the drives 5.5mm x 2.5mm female jack.

After a couple of minutes of having two 16ft strands of strip lights connected the lights started flickering. As soon as I unplugged one, it stopped. Tried different transformer and strands of lights...same result.

Works well to split the power from a single power pack to a pair of small IR floodlights. Check the current and wattage of your lights to make sure it is not overloaded and it will work just fine. So in other words, what you should do for any electrical device load.

Have a back up battery system - the new Modem input is not the same as the old one. Purchased this with a number of options - works fine. Also found out the old battery in the back up system needed replaced..... that is on order as well.
