> 3 dayI bought multiple sizes of plates and bowls and LOVE them, but after several washes in the dishwasher (claim to be dishwasher safe), they have started to fade, pretty badly. Now I have to handwash to them keep what design is left on them - HUGE DISSAPPOINTMENT having to handwash to keep them looking good!!!

> 3 dayThese bowls are colorful, fun, well-portioned. They arrived on a timely basis, packed well - no breakage. Though I ordered them for a theme dinner party, Ive used them each day since and received many compliments. I dont NEED new dishes, but I have to say, Ive enjoyed having this colorful, fanciful addition to my collection.

> 3 daySet of 6 bowls Variety of blue and purple tones colors These are great for pasta and light meals I wouldn’t use these for soup or cereal These aren’t deep dish but they’re decent depth for solid foods The plates are heavy without food and seem well made The glazing isn’t perfect There is some speckling (see last photo) Overall I like this set and I’m satisfied with my purchase

> 3 dayI wanted large bowls (for enjoying big salads) that went with my collection of dishes from Japan. These looked like they could meet the need, and they were the largest ones I could find, holding 40 ounces according to the description. They survived shipment nicely, but when unpackaged, four of six had defects, either excessive glaze pooling or issues with the pattern (see photos; I couldn’t photograph the glaze pooling, so these are of the pattern defects). Only two of the six should have made it past quality control. I was really disappointed. But then I decided to reach out to the company, as the little note in the box said to if there were any issues. They offered a refund (though the amount they offered didn’t match what I had paid, was less by over $5), or a replacement set, without having to return the first set. I was a bit worried when I went for the replacement set; if it had 4 defective bowls as well, I didn’t know what I’d do then. But this time it came with only one bowl that had issues, and that was some smearing of the pattern on the outside in a small place. Not ideal, but not at all like the first batch. The remainder would pass strict QC, no problem, and were absolutely lovely. The bowls are large enough for a good, filling salad for my lunch, and they are pretty enough (the perfect ones, anyway) to go with my other Asian dishware. The colors are saturated nicely in the darker bowls, especially in the newer set, and the glaze is nice and even in this replacement set, no bubbling or pooling. I love that they go in the dishwasher; I have some others I don’t risk in there, but these have the shiny glaze that makes them safe for this. So, bottom line, if you need bowls like this, take the chance that you’ll get a really good set like I did the second time. If you don’t get a good set, or anything is broken or otherwise damaged, just let them know, and they are good about helping. The first set was three stars, the second five, which is why I averaged for a four star rating. Five stars for the customer service, though. I am going to enjoy using these every day.

> 3 dayThis are large, heavy porcelain bowls that are fantastic for pasta, soup or ice cream sundaes. They clean well in the dishwasher. The white bowl is a standard sized bowl for comparison. I love these bowls!
