I was excited to get this, hoping to save time on doing my floors so I could keep up with it better while I have babies playing on the floor. I opted to try this one (even though it doesnt do carpet) because I liked the idea of just tossing the pad and not having to clean the inside thoroughly. It does an ok job vacuuming and then you go over it again with the mop and solution, which isnt a big deal, but I felt like it was SO HARD to push once wet. I had to use a lot of arm strength and I was bending a lot. After having to carry and wrestle with small children all day this is not something I want to do. I had to use 2 pads on my downstairs, and half a bottle of the solution. Finishing the upstairs will use probably just 1 more pad and a quarter of a bottle. That means every time I clean my house it will cost me $20. Not reasonable. It does clean fairly well. This would be great for someone living in an apartment where you would likely use just one pad and 1/4 of a bottle of solution. Not terribly loud, either. I plan to return and to try a more expensive option that does carpet so I dont have to pay for the replaceable elements.

This vac / mop is fantastic!! I can’t believe how much debris it holds!! I’ve even purchased these for my daughter and daughter-in-law.

    Greater than one week

I have 4 dogs and 3 children under 10 and 6 adults and we run a construction company out of our home. My living room has constant traffic. And this has kept the floors so clean that my granddaughter whose 1 can walk around and we don’t have to worry about dirt

This is an awesome tool to keep our kitchen floor tidy with two toddlers. I use it after every meal and it’s so easy! Couple of cons: if you hang it, the dirt tends to fall out of the front while hanging. It also doesn’t scrub well so the mop is really only good for fresh/wet spills and very light debris that will come up with a quick spray. The vacuum is strong and will pick up anything that fits through the hole (Cheerios, goldfish, I’ve even vacuumed up scrambled eggs, beans, pasta, etc that my kids throw on the floor). But the chamber isn’t very big. I use it 3-4x a day and have to change heads about every 3 days. The battery stays charged for about 4-5 days with this amount of use. Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone with small children or those who are looking to do some light to moderate spot cleaning between major cleans. I would not recommend this for a primary cleaning tool. If it had a reusable mop head and vacuum chamber that could be emptied I’d be absolutely in love. The convenience factor is huge though so I’m willing to overlook the disposal cartridge cost because it’s just worth it to us right now. Last thought is that I love how compact it is. Fits right next to our fridge and has a convenient hole to hang it from.

Lightweight and easy to maneuver for a quick, light cleaning. Not for heavy dirt or grime; good for a quick clean up.

I have used this now for a week. First con was the vacuum bin size. There may be bigger out there but havent looked. 9/10 for head action. This head swivels all over the place making it easy to get under things. Suction I would give it maybe 6 out of 10. Maybe higher for being battery powered. With that said I havent found any pet hair, hair, dust that this thing wont suck in at 6 distance. So far Im impressed. Not even considering returning it. Just keep in mind this is for fast cleaning. Loose stuff it works awesome. Even when my daughter drags in hay from the barn. I havent spent much time using the mop but it sprays good. Little concerned on how much the replacements are going to cost. I would like to see more vacuum bin capacity but with that said I havent plugged it full yet. Its light weight, head action is 9/10. Battery life so far I would give 10/10 because I can do the whole house and still after 20 minutes the battery is still going good. In my opinion the wasted battery life on the headlights is stupid. It might benefit someone but I have lights in my house.

So when I got this, I was so excited so I opened it & used it as soon as I got home. Super easy to use & set up. However I am guilty of not reading all the instructions. So my 1st use I wasn’t impressed. But after reading that u use the vacuum portion 1st, then use the sprayer. It works a lot better. I was trying to use them at the same time to begin with. Pads are easy to put on & off, and trap all the yuck well. The solution is poured into the machine, unlike the swifter u have to use their specially designed bottles. Don’t have to do that with this, so realistically you can use any solution, however they recommend the shark solution. I think the price tag is a little hefty. It is basically a swifter on steroids. I love the vacuum feature. & I love the swifter style design, you can actually get into corners better with this than the swifter. And speaking of corners, it works amazing, flip the head around to where when u are up against a threshold or wall, it gets every single thing on the floor! Cracks, corners no more build up, this gets it all! It really should be priced about $40 less than it is, but I’ve never had a machine do this well on corners & against a wall. When this wears out I probably won’t replace at this price, unless it lasts longer than a swifter does. All in all, happy with the purchase, like the machine. Pads are a little pricey too. But can you really put a price tag on making ur life easier & cleaner?

Im a hands and knees floor cleaner - do floors get clean any other way? Recently interested in breaking into the knee-saving convenience of a wet-mop-vac. Years ago I tried swif wet jet and tossed it because of doghair and sopping disgusting pads that pushed around dirt. I would have spent much more, but the reviews on more complicated versions/brands always stopped me, so I decided to go basic and inexpensive. I was really averse to something complicated - maybe others are ok with that, my goal was SIMPLE, quick. After the first use, the Shark Hard Floor Vacuum Mop seems to be a very suitable introduction to the concept for me! The vacuum is actually quite adequate for doghair and loose debris in the kitchen. I first vacuumed the entire area prior to spraying (per instructions, not sure how I feel about vacuuming up wet/sprayed debris). One bad thing is that the trigger for the vacuum is under the crook in the handle, so I ended up hitting it A LOT by mistake as I got used to pushing it. The agility and twist is perfect, easy to handle and easy to keep straight on. The accuracy of the spray will take some time to get used to. The Shark VacMop Cleaner did fairly well - I saw streaks and footprints along the way, but as the floor dried they are not noticeable. An annoyance is that these mops are certainly ALL designed to be pushed FORWARD which when using wet, you cant help but leave footprints ... and its nearly impossible not to push back and forth over dirty areas. I accomplished a large kitchen and large bathroom with first use. I used 3 pads and less than a cup of cleaner. Took 15 minutes but I stopped to read directions etc. Im impressed honestly! I think it has potential to be quick, pretty darn thorough, and simple. My intentions are to try white vinegar and water, but the cleaner exceeded my expectations - I only kneeled down to scratch away a dirt spot a few times, and if I sprayed and came back to a spot in a minute or two it got almost everything. [PS my floor was REALLY dirty!] Also worth noting, was the light on the front, it is not super bright but helped see what was in front of the mop. It was impressive in the corners and along baseboards - no complaints (and I will get better at that as I see what works best for me). My recommendation is that if you are looking to try the wetvac concept, and want REALLY SIMPLE, this was well worth the fairly low price I paid. As the unit ages, I will update if I feel any differently. Overall, I believe I will use it (as opposed to something too big and time consuming) and I believe it worked very well for no knees. Price was easy. Its a YESSSSS.

It doesnt have a bag or container for dirt/debris. It collects it all in a disposable pad thats hollow on the inside. Its similar to a swiffer wet mop pad. Shark could have EASILY made rinseable or emptiable pads, but chose to make them impossible to empty without ripping so that they can get more of your money. I guess thats so they can have the cheapest vacmop in market. Beyond the frustration of having to continually use new pad, the vacmop is super convenient. It does not work well if you try to vac and mop at the same time. Vac first, then mop. You can vacuum up debris you missed once you start mopping as long as its not too wet yet. I have two toddlers and its super convenient for after meal cleanup. Its probably the next best thing to a robo mop, but if you can afford it, Id go with the robo mop if you have toddlers like me. I dont know that theres anything special about the cleaning solution. Seems like you can use any cleaning solution. I didnt want to mix solutions so I mopped with just water in the tank first and it seemed to clean just as well as with the shark solution. Its a nifty tool. The headlights are cool. I think I can actually see more debris if I use the mop at night with the lights off. They have definitely left room in the market for a third party to start selling reusable/rinseable vacmop compatible pads.
