> 3 dayI wanted this wire to run between the battery and the inverter on a solar backup power system. I was very impressed with how flexible the wire was and how easily the stripping tool I had was able to cut away the insulation on the ends. So I was able to install lugs (not included) on the ends easily to make the cable I desired. It came with a velcro like strap to hold the loop of wire together which was a nice touch. The hardest part about installation was that the individual strands in the cable were so fine, it was a little difficult to make sure all of them went into the lug. The flexibility of the cable was worth that little difficulty. .

> 3 dayThis is some pretty nice wire. I didnt feel like it was poor quality. The red and black wires are separated, and not connected to each other. I think my install it would have been nicer if they were connected to each other. I just used some heat shrink here and there to keep the negative and positive wires together. Overall nothing really to complain about, they conduct electricity like I need.

> 3 dayLoved the flexibility of the silicone jacket, and certainly the 8 AWG wire has plenty of current capacity (use was a 12V electric winch on a horse trailer). If I had a choice, however, I would have preferred the inner core of solder be made of 20-30 smaller wires rather than 150-180 smaller wires. In the end it probably does not make a difference but I find the larger diameter wires easier for crimping and soldering.

> 3 dayI was changing the heating elements on my oven/stove range and learned that if I was going to have to change any of the wires I needed 8 gauge wire, heat resistant. But this wire that I got (8 gauge it says) does not look anything like the wire that is used throughout the electrical work of the stove/oven. The stove/oven wire appears to be about one third the diameter of the ordered wire in question. It has a hard, heat resistant , thin coating whereas the wire that was sent to me is covered in soft silicone, the kind you might use to make a mouthpiece out of. Apparently the wire I ordered is used to enhance the volume of the crappy music people play these days.

> 3 dayWanted to et the best possible wire for a decent price. Needed a short run since my battery is in the trunk near the amp. This is exceptional wire, easy to work with, and not inferior like CCA or even lesser grades of OFC.

> 3 dayIt deff is 100% copper, flexible and it is 16AWG wire. The insulation is thick but i checked with other 16GA wire to be sure its really 16 and it is.. would buy again

Greater than one weekI used this for my sons power wheel to run head lights on the front! I will have to say this wire is true 16 gauge. Matched up great with the previous wire. Great product highly recommend.

> 3 day5 stars with the wire. 0 stars for the pink bank they give you. Its literally the poorest designed wrap ever. Im not entirely too sure what it is supposed to do because the way it folds, it is inverted and cant hold tension. Would highly recommend the wire though. about 2-3mm thick rubber. Good quality and durable. Working great with the electronic products that I built them into right now
