> 24 hourHeard so much about this legendary mic, and partly because its at such an affordable budget. I finally bought one with a switch on/off option, which I highly recommend. Since its specifically designed for vocals, this mic really sounds great, especially helps round out mid to high pitch sounds. It really beats other more expensive mics that I have, especially for loud singing - musicals/opera/rock etc...I screamed into the mic and it still sounded great!

> 24 hourI have used this microphone several times in live performances, whether it is in church choirs or in collegiate a cappella groups. In a live setting, the SM58 generally resists feedback and produces an honest reproduction of lead and backup vocals.

> 24 hourThe mic has stopped working. Pretty disappointed. We have home mixing board and speakers and have literally used it like 4 times is all.

> 24 hour6 months since I ordered this mic and it works well. The on/off switch works as intended. Nice color, good sound. No complaints, its a Shure mic, I expect it to last me a while.

> 24 hourThis is a solid mic. I only have good things to say about it. I did some research before purchasing a new mic, and this Shure model has good reviews. My experience backs that up. Ive used it for recording music demos at home through a Behringer interface, and for vocals at live shows. Its crisp and clear, picks up the bass tones nicely. Highly recommend this if youre looking for something a little more professional, but not outrageously expensive.
