Greater than one weekLike my review title says, its an oldie but a goodie. I still have and use a SM58 I bought back in 1994. Even after two decades of use and abuse, it works great (it does look its age, though). It was time to grab a new mic, and although I have tried other quality brands and models of vocal mics, I leep coming back to the Shure SM58. I just wish these were Made in America and not in mexico. Still, it has the same quality as my old, 21-year-old SM58 has.

> 3 dayGreat sound quality for the price. I purchased four of these microphones for church use, primarily vocal music and spoken word. The construction quality and durability are great. And the sound for voice is very good. I especially like not having to worry about an occasional drop or bump.

> 3 dayGreat sound and low distortion. It does not pick up your breathing like some lesser quality mics do.

> 3 dayWith more than 50 years as an industry standard this mic holds its own and has stood the test of time. A creative engineer can make this mic shine and it could very well be your best vocal investment.
