I’ve had a SimpliSafe system for a few years. I needed some more contacts and this was simple and easy to install.

A lot faster plus free delivery over ordering from SimpliSafe direct. This motion sensor was easy to install on a existing second generator SimpliSafe system right from the box using the existing system’s keypad. Instructions were also included if needed.

My 6lb and 10lb cats set off the alarm constantly. When I called customer service, thet told me that because its heat activated that ANY animal will set it off. Basically the marketing line about under 50lbs not setting it off is just a lie. And it used to say 30lbs. They recently increased that rating. Its still not true. Its to the point I dont even set the alarm anymore because there are so many false alarms. Their solution is to turn the sensors upside down and place them so high that even an intruder can walk around your house unnoticed. With their solution, the only way it would trigger would be if the burglar was crawling across the ceiling.
