Ordering this add on motion sensor for our new home just highlights the advantage of a SimpliSafe system. When you have a need for more protection you just order what you need, install it yourself (easily) and its monitored along with the rest of your equipment at no extra charge. Its that simple.

I have a cat about 10 pounds if that . She has set it off 2 nights in a row .I know its her cause we can see it on one of our cameras . So this crap about small pets not setting it off is untrue . So be warned you will get faults trips if you have pets ...

Needed an extra sensor for the kit. Works great.

I’ve had a SimpliSafe system for a few years. I needed some more contacts and this was simple and easy to install.

Installed on a flat surface of the wall as corners were obscured with curtains leading to diminished coverage. Will be relocating to a corner to obtain better coverage. Attaches with screws or “removable” tape.

I just recently had to replace a motion detector but otherwise the system has worked very will. The system is easy to install and with all programming done from the keypad, it is easy to program. So far, I havent had to replace any of the batteries.
