> 3 dayI have a septic system and do not want food to go into it.. Keeping food out was a challenge when draining anything. Things that are very viscous will block the drain holes but for the most part it is a great solution.

1; Q :can I use this over a garbage disposal opening?
A. I guess it depends on the size of the opening? I do not have a garbage disposal. But it fits nicely in my regular kitchen drain.

A :2 in a package. This is a great product. It stop 99+ % of stuff trying to go down drain. Fits standard sink drain. Easily washable.
4.Q: Has anyone tried it for catching hair? I wash my hair in the sink, and haven’t found one, other than mesh. I need tiny holes.
A :It should would work for straining hair. I used it to pour discarded water from my portable carpet cleaning machine and it held lots of dog hair. Very convenient with attached handle and comes in a package of two. Great buy!
