> 3 dayA lot of people have no idea who SK Hynix is and think they sprang up over night. In the past they didn’t manufacture and sell products to general consumers. They were active with OEM manufacturing and there’s a good chance the DRAM you’ve used in the past was made by SK Hynix. SK Hynix is the worlds second largest memory chipmaker and the worlds third largest semiconductor company. Their headquarters is in South Korea.

08-06-2025Seems great so far! Had some trouble getting my bios to recognize the m2 drive so swapped some sata drives around and moved it to a different m2 slot and was able to get it formatted. The clone utility they provide on their website is amazing for swapping your OS. Amazing how fast I was able to switch everything over and be booting up from this drive!

> 3 dayHonestly, for the price its hard to beat. SK Hynix is a powerhouse in the computing world, up there with Samsung. I had a Samsung EVO ssd in my old rig, but got this on sale for my new AMD ryzen 5600 build. Its a solid performer. If you can get it at or under the $120-ish for the gig stick, thats pretty awesome.

> 3 dayI bought the SK hynix Gold P31 1TB NVMe SSD to upgrade the SSD in my HP Envy laptop. The Gold P31 offers read and write speeds of 3500MB/s and 3200MB/s, which is twice faster than the speeds with my previous SSD.

Greater than one weekWanted something to put in my gaming laptop that ran cooler than my last SSD to keep temps down. Replaced it and noticed an immediate difference in GPU running temp under low/medium load. Would definitely spend the extra dollars again.

> 3 dayEasy install. Easy setup. Easy expansion. Great drive at ~$120 for 1tb. The TBW rating is unrivaled :) Buy once cry once, dont buy a cheap fly by night brand ssd.
