22-11-2024Installed in my HP Omen 15 (it has a spare slot for another M2) Plays the games off it quickly, very happy with purchase. Does not come with a screw to secure it, but the Laptop already had one in place to use. Do not see any heat issues from adding it. Got it on sale but would have been a good purchase even at full price. Hynix has been around quite some time and I have bought many SODIMMs and DIMMs from them in the past with out issue. Two thumbs up!

Return window closed March 10th. I know it’s just a coincidence but it’s incredibly irritating. I just lost 750gb of data to a product that the seller knew was faulty.

22-11-2024If you are in the business of getting more storage or looking for an affordable m.2 drive. One that is extremely fast I recommend this one. Ive purchased this a couple of times for professional use and for personal use. It is a go-to. Its a solid state. The speeds are legit. And if youre one of the people that wanted to actually get a program and actually test the speed quality transfer rewrite go right ahead. The numbers are convincing. Incompatible with a lot of the other high-end companies that make this type of drive out there. Before a lot less money.

> 3 dayUpgraded to one of these from an older 850Evo, and the improvement has been pretty darn solid. Running performance benchmarks on this drive Im almost exactly getting 3500/3500 sequential read/writes, an almost 7x improvement from my previous sata ssd. Considering the price (paid about $130 for 1TB) and performance, this is one of the better drives Ive bought, and am strongly considering another one or two in the short term.
