SK hynix Gold P31 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD, Up to 3500MB/S, Compact M.2 SSD Form Factor SSD - Internal Solid State Drive with 128-Layer NAND Flash

I bought three of the P31 500GB SSDs in total. The first one I bought was for my brothers PC and I tested it for roughly 3200 MB/s read and 3000 MB/s write speeds. I was impressed with the speeds so I ended up buying two more on different dates. I put both into my PC and tested the speeds and they came out to similar speeds as each other but lower than the first one I bought for my brother. Pictures are provided. Youre probably going to say that the differences arent worth complaining about but in my opinion, they are. I actually do notice the difference and would have preferred if it came out much closer to what was expected.

Check out the storagereview.com review of this guy - theres a great chart showing how the random read performance (arguably the most important metric for day to day use) was in a close second place behind the much more expensive 970 pro, and soundly ahead of the WD SN750, 970 evo plus, crucial P5. (Also - check out the Houdini benchmark where it places near the top of the pack, only behind Intels optane drives.) For the same price or less than those, this drive to me is an awesome buy. That performance is backed up by my CrystalDiskMark results, showing some impressive random performance, ahead of benchmarks Ive seen for the competition. My only complaint was that they didnt include a mounting screw in the box, which would have been very helpful. I also liked the eco-friendly packaging! Hoping this drive will last me a long long time.

I bought this SSD to upgrade my DELL Laptop which came with a 256 GB SK hynix BC501 SSD. The NEW SSD is about 2x as fast READ & 4+x as fast WRITE. In addition to upping my storage by 4x (256GB to 1 TB), the new drive is SO MUCH FASTER, it ha really un-bottlenecked my 2018 Laptop performance. Great value at a great price!

This little thing is fast. If you run a benchmark on it you will see that it has the speeds that are advertised! Dont want to get to much into it but I also purchased TWO 2.5 inch 1TB SATA drives to replace the HDD in my gaming computer and my PS4. As far as this drive I was replacing the old 128GB Samsung SSD which was the boot drive. WOAH! What a difference in boot time and everything else! The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is while the drive is very fast, efficient and very reliable......Im spoiled because of this drive and these SK Hynix drives only go to 1TB. I want 2TB NOW! Ive been holding out on purchasing a Samsung, Western Digital or Sabrent in hopes that SK Hynix will drop high capacity on us soon but overall THIS is an excellent drive and I highly recommend it.

This drive rates over 400% on benchmark. Have it as my game drive loads super fast without issue. Installed on b560 board with 11600k. Price/performance unequalled. Get it !
