> 3 dayThe 2tb model is 1.81tb after formatting. It runs fine and hasnt given me any problems. I dont know what else to ask of a hard drive.

22-11-2024The PCB is bented! Those chips are soldered with very small tolerances and when the PCB is bent like that there is risk in short life of the solderjoins resulting in a dead drive. This picture was taken BEFORE the drive was installed and there were no sign of the package had been opened so it seems SK Hynix are having som production issues, very worrying!

> 3 dayIts definitely worth spend the extra couple of dollars for this drive over the less expensive options. It truly is faster. I replaced my drive a couple of weeks ago with a drive (Im confident youre considering buying as you read this) that was about 20% less expensive. I just replaced my wifes drive with this one (in the exact same sister laptop as mine) and when we do a side-by-side test, my wifes computer is clearly out preforming mine. Trust me, if you buy this drive you will be glad you did.,
