> 24 hourSkullcandy’s description says it all: wireless simplicity with noise canceling. These aren’t headphones for audiophiles who want to control and customize every sound option. These are headphones for people who want affordable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and decent sound output. I’ve noticed the ANC works better when I’m listening to music rather than if I’m watching a tv show or movie to cancel out the background noise in my home. If I am watching a show, I can hear someone else watching a video in the next room; the noise of their video is cut about 75-80%. If I have music on, the noise of their video is cut about 90-100%, depending on the type of music. Switching ANC on and off is easy. The headphones have a dedicated button for that, one second press to turn on, one second press to turn off. So it’s very quick if I need to hear someone speaking. The button has a raised open circle (◯) on it, so once you get used to the different symbols on the buttons, it’s very easy to feel it. The headphones also provide audio indicators (“Noise cancelling off/on”) when turning the ANC on and off. The other buttons include + for volume up/track forward, ⚫ for power/play/pause, and -- for volume down/track back. I’ve used Skullcandy headphones for years when working outside, and I really like that they keep using physical buttons. I find physical buttons so much easier to use and know what button I’m pressing. Sound quality is okay. I’ve noticed that the bass seems punchy, like I can feel it echoing against my ears. I don’t often mess with sound profiles, but this is a case where I would try to reduce the bass for my audio comfort. Otherwise, the sound is average to good. The headphones stayed in place on my head, from sitting at my desk to walking around the house, folding laundry, and putting it away. I didn’t try with intensive activity, but as I mentioned above, I’ve used the previous versions of Skullcandy Hesh for working outside and they stay put. These look and feel almost identical to my old Hesh headphones, so I’m confident these will perform the same. They are tight; I sometimes get a headache when wearing them. The headphones charge via USB-C. The box includes a USB cable and an audio cable. I used the headphones for about a week, probably 20 hours, before needing to charge. I like that I can get 3 hours of use with a 10 minute charge, very handy for if I’m going somewhere and forgot to charge ahead of time.

> 24 hourI purchased these instead of the $500 dollar set. The sound is great and the noise cancellation was awesome as well. If you’re looking for a great set of headphones for a low price, don’t hesitate to get them.

> 24 hourI bought these because of the sale price and reviews about comfort. These are great for glasses-wearers! I can wear them for hours. If they get a little uncomfortable, the ear cups swivel so I can easily adjust where the pressure sits. I prefer using ambient mode over noise cancelling and the ambient mode is great! However, if youre looking at these for the noise cancelling, theyre pretty good. Pros: - Comfortable - Battery life - Ambient mode Cons: - Noise cancelling isnt THAT great I really love these headphones, but I definitely would not pay full price for these. But theyre great for $80!

> 24 hourI had a previous set of these earphones that worked great. I use them at night to watch TV so I don’t disturb anyone. Bought a new pair and Every time I charge them I have to reconnect to the Bluetooth adapter on my tv. The old one just automatically paired. It’s very frustrating. Takes forever to pair. Considering just sending them back and use the old pair. The only reason I got new ones was because the ear pad was coming off. I only used them for a year. It was probably my fault because I fall asleep with them on and I’m a side sleeper. I don’t recommend these unless you like having to take forever to pair every time you charge them. I’ll use the old ones until the ear cup falls off and buy a different brand.

> 24 hourI’m almost always impressed with Skullcandy’s offerings, and for the most part the Hesh ANCs are no different. For the price Skullcandy is asking these are truly exceptional (again, this is what I’ve come to expect from the brand), with crystal clear sound and enough bass to let you know it’s there. In simple sound quality terms there’s nothing that particularly stands out, no special USP that drops your jaw, but these are just excellent all rounders. I’ve been testing them all day, watching a movie and listening to a little music and a podcast, and the headphones haven’t struggled once. They’re just a dependable workhorse that can take anything you throw at them with ease. I’m not much of a fan of ANC as I feel anxious when I can’t hear my surroundings, but the ANC here is very good if that’s what you’re looking for. Low frequency sounds are entirely cancelled out - I’m sitting next to my noisy fridge right now and can’t hear the low hum of the condenser at all - and high frequency sounds, such as the tap tap tap of a keyboard, are nicely dulled though not entirely eliminated. I’ve experienced better ANC, but not at this price point. My only slight issue with these headphones is that the earcups aren’t quite large enough for my liking. For daily use I favour a Razer Blackshark gaming headset because the enormous earcups sit entirely over my ears, which means I can use them all day without any discomfort, but the Hesh ANCs are just a tiny bit too small to do the same. They surround my ears but I can still feel the earcups touching them, so I can never forget I’m wearing them. This is only a minor issue, though. The overall comfort is very good, the sound is excellent and the ANC is as good as you’ll find at this price. I’d be happy to recommend these to anyone.

> 24 hourtheyre comfortable but the noise canceling doesnt work as well as my Sony MX series. the noise canceling kind of dims the outside sound but doesnt seem to be canceling it out. though, they seem to work well when people at work try to talk to me because i generally dont hear that very well. idk if its a software or hardware thing but it would be awesome if i could get an update/modify it somehow. battery life is pretty good because the recharge time to extension ratio is good. a full charge can almost last me an entire work day but if i have them on nonstop then i usually have to throw them on the charger for a few. sound quality might not be the best on the market, but these sound pretty good and help me stay focused.

> 24 hourOverall I am very pleased with these headphones. Sound quality, durability, battery all great. Two very minor complaints is the pads get hot and create some sweat when active while wearing. Also the collapsible feature is great but a tad too sensitive.

> 24 hourThese are comfortable headphones and the noise cancelation it pretty good. However there are some downsides. There is a foreign sounding feminine voice (obviously the actress does not actually speak English, as the pronunciation is very odd) that announces functions and power activation, which cannot be disabled and for which the volume cannot be adjusted. Powuh on Powuh off Sounds more like something you would expect from a cheep Bluetooth speaker from Wish (duh blootoos dEvaice is cOnected ah sUccess-fil-a). So I think that the $40 that I paid is fair, but I definitely would have been disappointed at $120.

> 24 hourI’m extremely impressed with the noise cancellation! The moment I turn on ANC I can’t hear the dryer, washer, or any low frequency noises. Talking isn’t eliminated but it’s definitely suppressed! You can even listen to music with the ANC on. The sound these produce are pretty amazing when it comes to music but answering phone calls sound a bit weird (doesn’t sound bad though, just kinda off? Might just me tho.) Overall really happy with these headphones especially since I wanted them for the ANC feature!
