03-06-2025Bought these in Feb and decided Ive used them enough to review a little. ! LOVE these headphones! Only gripe is it doesnt seem like the battery life is really 22 hours. I also wish the headband could extend a bit more, but thats just my big head, really. Outside of that, VERY comfy! Overall, Im glad I decided to spend some money this time instead of getting some cheap pair at Wal-Mart or something.

> 3 dayI use these for teleconferences, so it is important I can hear the details. The high quality sound is improved by the effective noice cancellation. My cohort and clients have never mentioned I sound “tinny” or “far away” as they have with other headsets. They are comfortable to wear for hours at a time, and I can get 3-5 days of work out between recharges. Highly recommend, especially for the price point.

> 3 dayFirst of I want to preface that I am not knowledgeable or experienced with audio knowledge. These are the first experience Im having with active noise cancelation and I enjoy it, but theres some pressure in your ears after extended period of time. The build is nice, audio quality as well, but after about 3 weeks I started having disconnecting issues. At first I thought they were dying from low battery didnt bother me,occurred only once a day: after 1 week it couldnt stay connected for more than 10 min. I checked online and multiple people were all having thr same issue, an issue seemingly endemic to the some skullcandy headphones. The issue dramatically improved after I disabled thr built in tile tracker thanks to some advice on reddit, but I still expect it to disconnect when I move a great amount of distance, go to certain places, and when there isnt any sound playing for about 10 min (have to turn it off and on to reconnect btw through out all this. When it disconnectsyou cant reconnect theough your bluetooth settings or unles you delete the blurtooth profile and re-pair it.) This feels like a hardware issue honest, and though they are good for the price, its not worth this technical hot fixing by you. Dont buy it.

> 3 dayThese let out a very high pitched feedback squeal if you press the cut against your ear, like rolling over on a pillow. Its a painful experience. ... Skullcandy customer support was absolutely useless too, apparently they forgot how to read.

> 3 dayIn terms of mid-priced over the ear headphones, these are very good. Not perfect headphones by any means, but they are very wearable and great for the price. Loved the look and feel more than my last Skullcandy, but sound quality is somewhat down.

> 3 daySkullcandy is a brand that I have been familiar with for years. When I think of Skullcandy I think of a brand that produces great sounding products at a great price which is what attracted me to try these headphones in the first place. Right out of the box, my first impression of these headphones is that they look nice! They dont feel like the most premium material but the word cheap is definitely not something I would use to describe these. Around my head they feel comfortable(for reference, I have a large head) and I find that my ears fit within the cushion without much issue. My ears do touch the headphones a bit but it is not something that becomes really distracting. Sound quality is great with these headphones but not the best. The default EQ is set to a pretty boosted base with some not so boosted mid and highs. The active noise cancellation will filter out most noise, although it does not compete with the more expensive brands. There are no major cons with this product. Overall, I was pleased with this product and for the price I would definitely put them on my radar for recommendation. The sound quality and comfort of my Bose QC 35 II ca not be matched with these headphones but I do not necessarily think Skullcandy is trying to do this because their price ranges are not the same. Overall I am going to stick to my Bose but these would make a great supplemental pair. I hope this review helps you make an educated purchasing decision.

Greater than one weekEasy to set up and use, I was looking for a good pair of noise cancelling headphones but didnt want to spend $200-$300 on a pair. Mixed reviews for these other more expensive alternatives also encouraged me to buy these. These headphones work well, and for the price I paid (~$80), it wont be as big a loss of they get lost or stolen. Ive got some trips planned in 2022 and Im very glad to have these headphones in my inventory.
