Loved the easy setup and works with Alexa. Dual plugs allows 2 separate appliances

I don’t use Alexa, so I can’t verify that usage, but I do use Google. I also already had multiple devices that work with SmartLife, so I wanted another plug that works with SmartLife just to keep down the number of apps I’m integrating with Google Home. This was the easiest setup ever!! I opened the SmartLife app, plugged in the plug (one at a time, of course). The app immediately recognized the new device(s). In the Google Home app, I just had to tell it to look for new SmartLife devices and bingo!! All done in less than 5 minutes!! Will buy these again for sure!

This device did not incorporate the voice command with my Google Mini and the applications on my phone. I know how this technology works, its not rocket science. I downloaded the device app, linked it to the Google Assistant and Home apps, I even saw the names I assigned to the plugs from the parent app. The darn thing just wouldnt accept the voice command sent to the Mini device. The Amazon customer service person was nice, but wanted me to go through half a dozen steps to troubleshoot the problem. I chose to send it back and try something different.

This pretty much does exactly what is says. I just took it out the box and followed the directions and that was it! Works great with Alexa

Bought this in December. Worked fine until April and now is just constantly offline. Not worth the money or hassle.

Have only used it for a week or so, (may have to come back after I have used them for a while), but they seem to work just fine. It was a little tricky setting up the first one, you have to use a separate app, and then it imports to the Alexa app, and then is available to your Alexa devices. The second one went much more smoothly and just linked itself right up. Each socket represents itself as 1 device to Alexa, and then both sockets together as another device. So ultimately each plug will register as 3 devices on your Alexa, just to help out anyone struggling. I have one plug controlling two appliances in my kitchen, freeing up an extra socket now. I have also now set up a routine for either of those appliances (like my coffeemaker) so it can turn itself on and off on a schedule. The other plug went onto a socket under my bed so now I can control the lamps on either side without having to struggle to find the switches when they slip under the bed. So all in all, great purchase! Thinking of grabbing some more!

Worked as expected. Nice to have it as a plug extender too. Ive got a light and fan setup on one plug now, super easy to get configured (once you download their app and enable it in Alexa.)
