Worked as described and great value for the money!

I see most of the differences in the Charcoal Filter 1. The size of the pellets is much smaller 2. The pellets fill 2/3 of each hexagon vs about half of the OEM 3. The screen is much finer on the new filter compared to the OEM. This is probably because the pellets are smaller. When comparing the old charcoal filter with this one, there is significantly more air restriction from one. So much so that the change filter light will not stay off after replacing. I did not have the black dust issue some have complained about though. The regular filter does not seem significantly different from the OEM. The fit is slightly worse, but not enough to impact filtration in my opinion.

This product is sold as an H size filter however it does NOT fit an H application for Winix. Horrible experience that doesn’t deserve the single star. I purchased this product Jan 2023 and unfortunately past the return window. These filters are NOT the H model. Buyer please beware these filters DO NOT fit in any application for H size filters.

As you can see by my picture, this air purifier and filter works. I like the price. You get 2 charcoal and white filters for much cheaper. I bought the first filter when it came with the Winix plasmawave air purifier summer 2020 when the air quality was horrible from the forest fires. Its helped keep our indoor air quality healthy for us our pets for over a year now. I highly recommend these filters. They look exactly like the filters that came in the air purifier.

Works just fine

The Smilyan brand (front) measurements are off to the original Winix hepa filters (back). Smilyan hepa filters are especially noticable to be shorter. Width not much differences. The Smilyan charcoal filter (front) are a tad shorter than the original Winixs (back). Therefore the Smilyan will definitely fit into the Winix air purifier. I had just changed out the original Winix filters and putting in Smilyan filters as of September 2021. Quality is unknown and will update later to see how will it collects in air particles. Turning on my Winix I do notice the sound/noise level has gone down by a bit as well. Not sure what that means or does, but only time can tell about the quality of the Smilyan brand to see how much the Smilyan filters collect after a year compared to the original Winix filters.
