I have done two trips with my Soto Windmaster and am very happy with it. On a few windy occasions I had no issues with the stove staying lit and working well. The burner control is good and Im able to simmer things.

Soto makes great products and the Windmaster is no exception. Its powerful (11,000 BTUs) and capable of doing so much more than just boil water. If all youre going to do is re-hydrate meals, then this stove is probably overkill for you and you should just get a generic BRS stove. but if you want to do even basic cooking on the trail, then this stove will more than meet your needs. I also really appreciate the regulator on it so you dont lose much efficiency when using it in colder weather.

I have tried the product and is working absolutely perfect. Received in perfect condition. I only wish it had a hard case to protect it.

After reading many reviews I went with the SOTO WindMaster and Im 100% happy with my decision. This thing is great for backpacking. Its lightweight, easy to pack, and performs flawlessly. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone.

This is one of the best portable stoves Ive used. It burns hot, quick, and efficiently. I use mine for boiling water while camping/backpacking. I am not an ultralight backpacker so I cannot speak to the weight aspect of it. It is similar to other portable stoves (Pocket Rocket, Mini Mo) Ive used in that aspect. There is a 3-prog support available for those concerned about weight. I really enjoy the bulit-in igniter and windscreen for the stove. Ive has some issues with other stoves and wind, but this stove stands up better to that. Unfortunately there are no other accessories that come with the stove itself (other that the drawstring pouch it comes in). It wasnt a big issue for me but just keep that in mind. Performance-wise this is my favorite stove and my new go-to. Even if you are not a backpacker it is good to have in case of an emergency. I would highly recommend this product.

Worked Great. Took it on my 6 day, 45 mile backpacking trip on the Uinta Highline Trail. Boiled water faster than anyone elses stove, never failed in the wind. I wish the stove arms packed down flatter, but it is a great self-igniting stove.

Pleasantly surprised with the speed this unit heats water. Compact and durable. Great addition to our backpacking essentials. Used less fuel than expected. Great also in the wind.

Have several stoves, but this is hands down the best. Very reliable, resistant to wind, and easy to pack. Now I can give away all my old stoves.

The stove is really excellent for ultralight backpacking. Great support for large pots and fine low flame control. The push button starter is the bees knees. Combine with an MSR fuel canister tripod for superior stability.
