> 3 dayI purchased this so I can heat up some water for my coffee when I am out camping. It works great and fits a small kettle just fine without any other attachments. Had no issues even when I was heating up some water on the windy coastline. Worth every penny.

> 3 daySo simple, so light, ignitor takes a few tries but had worked each time. Took it on a 2 day traverse of the NH Presidentials and I was able to boil water in less than 3 minutes and also keep it at a super low simmer and it performed well for both functions.

> 3 dayGreat in wind and heats water/food lightning fast! It is larger than many of the other stoves you can buy here, but it is top quality, durable, and can be used in cold temeperatures better than most because of the design!

> 3 daySimply a fantastic stove! Hot tip is to get an adapter for the 100% butane cans I get for $1.25 at the local Asian grocery. For a more stable platform with the pure butane canisters, simply tie 3 or 4 wrist size sticks together in a triangle with the canister in the middle. Makes a good heater also. Just put something on top of the stove to disperse heat out the sides for best performance. You will be amazed how high the flames from this stove gets!

> 3 dayThis thing works great- love the self starter option. I had no issues with wind or wet causing a problem. It folds up small and I am able to store it in my pot with the fuel canister. Great purchase!

> 3 dayI have many burners, but this soto windmaster is definitely faster , I didnt use my windscreen either. Putting on and off the pot holder / stand is a bit tricky for me though. But overall this is a great burner.

> 3 dayJust used for a week in the Wind Rivers Wy. Performed flawlessly even above 10,000, outside temps were fairly warm. Boiled a pot of water very quickly, no issues staying lit in a breeze. I liked how you can take off the pot supports and position around the side of the stove for transport. Piezo worked perfect. I liked having the 4 pot supports, made it nice and stable. I only used for boiling water so I cant speak to the low temp cooking but it seems to have a very low setting as you turn down the gas valve.
