Very pleased with my purchase, wish they would have included the three arm support as well. The piezo lighter seems to work great, not the same quality and finish as the stove.Expect that this will last for years. Love that you can simmer with this stove.

This thing is really impressive. It lit the first time every time, and the btu output was really impressive.

It performs great. Not the lightest but you can shave 20g instantly with the other triflex support. I wish I could have bought it bundled with that instead of separately. No regrets.

Really like the way the valve actuates with the internal spring load. I’m guessing that might also provide some kind of pressure regulation as a byproduct as well? Remember you have to open 1-1.5 turns to release the spring tension and get the gas flowing. Nicely done.

I use this for backpacking, solo tent camping and when my daughter is sleeping in the camper and I just want a quick cup of coffee outside where I won’t wake her. It’s fast, reliable and easy to carry. It’s fits with 1 small canister in the snow peak titanium mini solo coolest. It works with all of the sizes of iso-butane. The flame is adjustable so you can minimize how much flame you give off. It’s stable - I really like the 4 prongs because I often am using a semi-level surface (like a rock) and it hold it up. I haven’t had trouble with wind, but I do carry a piece of foil to wrap around it just in case (its the top of a buffet casserole container).

Awesome backpacking stove. I like the 4 stand compared to other brands out there. The amount of heat Soto puts out top.

Just returned from using this stove for a week solo in the backcountry. I was entirely pleased. Now, to be honest, the igniter was not happy in the wind or cold, but a lighter fixed that in a nanosecond. This stove was a champ in windy conditions, and best of all, I baked bread in my MSR skillet with a homemade oven lid and it was easy to turn the flame down, and delicious. To cook eggs, I set a large mouth canning ring over the burner and it worked perfectly to diffuse the lowest flame so the eggs did not scorch my fry pan and was easy to clean. I love this stove. Carried it in a little plastic jar ....its a winner!
