> 3 dayThis is the ultimate introduction to the game. Starting decks for 6 players, score cards, a nice deck, a well-written actual rulebook and 8 co-op / single player challenges. The box itself has a divider and is quite sturdy. Compared to the basic Star Realm deck this is much better - in fact I actually put the original Star Realms deck inside this box (fits but not with the unneeded 10-card starter decks from the original box) very comfortably.

> 3 dayGreat expansion for a great game. Really expands on the differences between the factions.

> 3 dayThe game is great. The directions that come with the game are good for explaining all the cards and how to set up the game. However the directions for playing the game are terrible. A 2min YouTube video cleared that right up.

> 3 dayStar Realms is already highly rated and has been for years. This Frontiers addition is no exception. And it’s much cheaper than many other card games such as Dominion. Thumbs up!

Greater than one weekFor anyone who enjoyed the original Star Realms game, this is a fun addition to the collection. This is a stand alone game that can be up to 4 players, or it can be intermixed with the original star realms decks. It also comes with some fun challenges that allow my family to work together to destroy a boss (rather than always destroy each other). It is a fun twist on an already fun game play.

Greater than one weekThis game packs a LOT of value in a small box! Its a deck building game where all players start with decks of the same weak cards. Some cards give you points to buy better cards, some give you points to use against the enemy, some give you more life points. The better cards are in a row of five on the table and each player during their turn can use whatever buying points they have to buy whatever they can afford. Whenever a card is bought, it is immediately replaced by a new card from the large deck of purchase cards, so the purchase row is never empty. Then the player uses their attack points on the enemy. This goes on until the enemy is defeated or the last player is. This version of Star Realms includes several cards that set up an enemy to defeat and rules for how it acts during its turn. This allows you to play solo games against these various threats. Groups can also play against these threats, so each player is fighting a common enemy instead of fighting against each other. This co-op style of play can help avoid any hurt feelings or resentment if you have kids (or even adults) who might get grumpy about losing often. If they get knocked out of the game, it was the common enemy that did them in - not someone sitting at the table with them. Or 2 to 4 players can have a good time just battling each other. Ive never been in a game with more than 2 players, so cant comment on how it plays with 3 or 4. This is a nice small-box game that stores easily but contains a good bit of variety in its gameplay. Easy to take with you to a friends house or to a coffee shop or on vacation! There are a few reasonably priced expansions you can buy in the future if you feel like adding more variety, but this set contains everything you need to have a lot of fun for a great price.

> 3 dayPretty great more duplicates than colony wars so a little less variety , play style is geared more towards using one main faction but over fun and 4 can play so hey why not? Boss cards look cool too
