My dentist put me on to these things and they have really changed my oral health. I used to always have gum issues, especially during dentist cleanings. Now, I use these picks about five days a week (I use this in the morning, and floss at night). It takes like fifteen seconds. Now my dentist always comments how great my gums are. No more bleeding gums!

Why is it that every time i find something I really like, its always pulled off the shelves at the stores?! It is so frustrating. Originally, when I started buying from Amazon, I was only ordering one type of product. I have to keep reminding myself that Amazon has so much more. And I am always pleasantly surprised when I find the things here on Amazon that I can no longer find locally. Such is the case with these things. My father-in-law introduced them to me 25 years ago (or more) and I have faithfully used them ever since--that is, until recently when I could no longer find them locally. Did I mention that I can no longer find them locally? ;-) I have yet to receive this product from the Amazon order, but like them that much--to actually go out and order toothpicks on the internet. Oh, yeah, might help to explain why.... Unlike common toothpicks, these things are soft wood and wedge-shaped which makes them considerably more comfortable to insert between teeth. Never had a splintering issue but even when the tip would break (too much pressure), I would peel it off and keep using the rest of the pick. I prefer the unscented ones but they do have scented (or flavored) ones as well.

I have used this product before and have always gotten good results from my oral hygienist. It is much better than an ordinary toothpick because it has a nice flat surface to get rid of plaque between your teeth. And you can use them anywhere in a hurry if you need to.

I think it does the job much better than plastic. More comfortable to use. Better than wood toothpicks. Easy to carry in your wallet or pocket.

I found some of my dads old stimudents (he died in 2006) so they were pretty old. Decided to try using them. WOW. Just WOW. I brush 2-3x a day and floss every night. I go for regular 6 month cleanings. I could not believe the plaque I scraped off my teeth with these, even though I take great care of my teeth! I quickly ordered from Amazon, and I am using them as I type. For the record, the new ones seem to be STURDIER than the older ones I had. So if anything, theyve increased in quality. I hightly -HIGHLY- recommend these. Try scraping the back of your teeth with these like when you get a dental cleaning. You wont believe what comes out!

I use Stimu-dent to clean food residue from my teeth and gums after dinner in particular. Its very effective and stimulates the gums better than dental floss. Great product, reasonably priced and natural.

Not very minty .. this is my first try of these and they are questionably minty maybe for about three seconds .. they do have a tendency to start splitting into sharp slivers pretty quickly I find myself coughing up little splinters .

These are almost impossible to find in the stores anymore. Ive been using them off and on for 20 years. They work great for keeping the plaque off my teeth and keeping my gums healthy.
