> 3 dayOrdered this bike for my 22 month old son. Product arrived ahead of schedule and arrived without damage. Assembly was a cinch and within 15 minutes my son was taking his first ride. Would definitely recommend this for toddlers who are ready to explore the world on two wheels.

> 3 dayBought this one for my son because it was the model with the lowest seat height I could find, we upgraded later to a kokua bicycle. If you want to do your back a favor, get one of these bikes, it will save you a lot of pushing later on when they try riding a bike with pedals

> 3 dayLove this balance bike for trips downtown. Has no pedals so toddlers learn to balance and scoot along. Gets them riding a pedal bike much faster!

> 3 dayEdit: We dont live in a flat area, and this bikes lack of any kind of brakes is rapidly becoming a problem. If you live somewhere that isnt perfectly flat, beware; this bike can build up a lot of speed that your child might not be able to counteract. We got this for my two-year-old. He adores it, and is having a great time learning it...except for one thing. Every time hes ridden it, hes wanted to stop after only a couple blocks. This is a kid who rode his previous, smaller bike for literally a mile at a time. I was baffled until I looked more carefully at the bike. On the support bar by the back wheel, it has two strips of sandpaper, I suppose so kids who are cruising can put their feet up without them slipping. These pieces of sandpaper had been rubbing the inside of my toddlers calves. Sure enough, when I looked closer, he had scrapes there. No wonder kiddo didnt want to ride for long! I covered the sandpaper in tape for now, but talk about a major design flaw. Im just glad I figured it out after a couple of rides--its not like a two-year-old can clearly convey whats wrong. Overall, the bike seems sturdy and Im sure well be using it for years to come, but cover the sandpaper in tape. Or better yet, the manufacturer could find another solution to putting something non-slip right there.

Greater than one weekI did my research before purchase and Im my opinion.. this is the balance bike to get! Tires were a big issue on all the reviews.. this one does have the harder foam looking tires.. I was honestly concerned.. but took a chance.. the other one kinda comparable...banana I think.. had hard shiny plastic tires and tire reviews were terrible... slick on grass and gravel.. and the handle bars seemed oddly angled.. These tires on the strider bike are fine! And the handle bars look great .. And it was perfect height for our 18 month old who is not on the tall end of the spectrum, lol. We dig this bike! Glad we bought it!! Vroom vroom :)
