> 3 dayI got this for my sons 2nd birthday; we were worried it might be too tall for him but the seat can adjust really low and it fits great. I like the classic over the next level up (you get a slightly more padded seat that a lot of reviewers said falls apart and a tool free adjust). this balance bike is pretty simple (in a good way). it doesnt have a lot of bells and whistles but is the most affordable and has everything you need for a first bike. all screws have rounded edges, etc, for safety and I found it easy to adjust with the allen wrench.

> 3 dayLove! We bought for my 2 year old son. He isnt quite ready to ride this. But the size is perfect for him whenever he is ready. So glad we have it for him.

> 3 dayWe bought this as a gift for my sons first birthday, having heard all of the benefits that the Strider bike provides in terms of balance as well as the eventual transition to a standard bike. I am writing this review a full year later - because he is only just now starting to use it. It is a good product and I fully expect all of the benefits to come through. He loves it now - but I would just caution against buying this before your kid is ready. I believe that Strider recommends 18 months. We thought we could get away with it at 1 year - but we couldnt.

> 3 daySolid construction but still lightweight. Foam type tires mean you will never need to change a flat. Having taught two kids to ride training wheels and two on balance bikes I can tell you balance bikes are the way to go. My 2 year old when from never having ridden a bike to winning races within weeks. You can adjust the handlebar height and the seat height to accommodate a wide range of child size. I highly recommend a strider bike as your kids first bike. If they can walk they can strider.
