Nice book

This is a beautiful and extremely useful book for quilters. Collectively, the patterns in the book provide a beautiful design for a sampler quilt. But, each block could stand alone as the focus of an individual quilt. The author was thoughtful enough to include fabric suggestions for a traditional quilt as well as a modern quilt. She also provides directions to create each block in three different sizes. Any quilter could benefit from adding this book to her library. Highly recommended.

The photos and instructions in this book are amazing. Im looking forward to learning new skills by the time I finish the entire quilt. Its a great way to challenge myself. Love it!!

I am an avid quilter who loves scrappy patterns. This looked like a lot of fun and the biggest reason that I purchased it is that there are layout options depending on what you want. I’ve looked the book over and think that the instructions are well written and very well explained. I’m looking forward to starting it, but have 3-4 quilt projects in front of it before I can get to it. Can’t wait!!!

The photos of the quilts are pretty. However, the blocks in this book are weird sizes to cut and piece . The authors premise of floating the blocks with sash strips to compensate for construction irregularities is not new. Think DEAR JANE quilt. So, if you enjoy making small blocks with lots of pieces using the 1/8 , 3/8, 7/8 marks on your rulers, you will enjoy making this quilt. The blocks are 5 inch, 6 1/2 inch and 8 inch. Good luck going down that rabbit hole, particularly if you are a beginning quilter.

This is a quilt book with patterns for the block of the month quilt Summer Moon. Block patterns are offered in 3 different sizes, and so far the instructions are very clear to follow. So happy I decided on this book.

The book was as it was described and will be used as a guide in a project which has begun.
