SUNLU 3D Printer Resin 1KG, 405nm UV Curing Standard Photopolymer Rapid Resin for 4K/8K LCD/DLP/SLA 3D Printing, High Precision, Low Shrinkage, Grey 1000g

I’ve just started with resin printing, so I’m still learning the tricks. This was the second bottle of resin that I’ve ordered. My first bottle was water cleanable, and while it worked pretty well for me, it wasn’t great. I had a few failed prints, one of which cracked diagonally across hundreds of layers while it was printing, maybe due to shrinkage. I decided to try something else. After cleaning my vat and switching to this bottle, I haven’t had any failed prints. The detail is exquisite, and the prints don’t feel as soft. I do notice that the prints are a little less flexible and a bit more brittle than the first resin that I used when they come off the printing plate, but after cleaning and curing, they seem fine. I’m very happy with this bottle so far, and I’ll likely order more of it again.

As a first time 3d resin printer owner, I purchased two different colors. Both printer as expected. I tried to go cheap without purchasing a washing and curing device. The clear in the sun requires a very close timing or it turns yellow. I also use acetone for a cleaner which worked great and is much cheaper than alcohol.

Ill admit, I was skeptical, with this resin having a lower price point than the AnyCubic Basic, I wasnt expecting perfection. I have a Phrozen Sonic Mini, and this time of year, Im having to print in 40F weather. Im keeping the resin at the ideal temp with a small heater inside of the printer, but ambient temp in my workshop is way too low to be printing otherwise. So far, Ive gotten excellent results with both the black and white resin, and at faster speeds than Ive been able to achieve with the AnyCubic Basic resin (1.8s exposure vs 3.0!) I recommend this for the value, but bear in mind my review is based on using an older printer model, not a 4k or 8k screen with the associated higher precision.

Nice Resin for the price. Great printing details with printing very tiny miniatures. No problem with build plate adhesion but to me this resin does smell stronger then other brands I have worked with. You also need to make sure you really rinse this brand well or the prints will be sticky. I would purchase this Resin again.

First time using this brand and I must say, I’m in love. Great for the price, with low to no mess clean up from the bottle. This is easily gonna be my go to resin from now on. Printed using Photon S at the default settings.

Durable and great quality resin for the price.

The best thing I can say about any resin is that it worked out of the box without needing to mess with any settings on my printer. My prints came out with sharp details, no support issues or droops, cured quickly and cleaned up well. The price per kg is very competitive as well.

For the price you definitely get way amazing results. I was very impressed with this resin. Took me a couple of tries to adjust my settings. But now that I dialed them in I am amazed with it. My go to resin for sure. Cant wait to make my entire Harry Potter chess set now

It’s cheaper then most of the other stuff and it works great! I’ve printed a lot of stuff with this resin and I’d recommend!

Sunlu is the only resin I use for 3D Printing. Ive tried several brands and I keep coming back to this one. Its been easy to use and has the lowest odor of any other brand Ive tried. I can be in the room while my printer is running, but not with any other brands Ive tried
