Sure-Grip Boardwalk Outdoor Wheels

Im a better skater than i thought. I did not know tge wheels made so much of a difference

I bought these for my husband who has never skated outdoors. Changing out his narrower harder wheels for these has turned him into a diehard street skating enthusiast. They are excellent for dealing with your typical street debris and bumps. Very grippy with a smooth ride. I highly recommend. In fact, I will replace my moxi lolly wheels with these when mine wear out.

I just got my Boardwalk wheels in. They are pretty sick! I live in Louisiana so theyll get the ultimate outdoor test with these janky roads lol

After reviewing these wheels... I was expecting them to be more like a 65mmx37mm wheel. Given the name and marketing of a Boardwalk Wheel. However, if you are wanting more floor surface, I have to say that these are not what I was expecting, given that the Atom Pulse wheels are 65x37, and these are 65x36, they might be close enough. I will need to skate them before my final judgement, because theyre also close to the floor surface of a 65mmx32mm, due to where the wheel curvature is. But, I have yet to get the data for this final review.

I was surprised at how these wheels handle almost any terrain. Ive powered through loose gravel and ruts in concrete, and glided across sewer grates and manhole covers. The wheels absorb a ton of the shock and vibration. Theyve boosted my confidence when skating outside around the neighborhood, down the street, across rough parking lots, etc. Highly recommend.

Im a brand new skater! These are my first outdoor wheels and they made me feel so secure. Great stickiness without slowing you down outdoors.

Have had these for about a year. Still in great shape, still ride very smoothly and even on rough uneven sidewalk / gravely surfaces. Perfect compliment to my Sure Grip skates.

First of all these arrived earlier than expected which was awesome. I bought my roller skates secondhand and they came with wheels that were very dense and hard with a derometer of 98. These wheels are outdoor wheels so they are softer. They made my ride smooth and easy. I didn’t feel slowed down at all which was surprising. I skated in parking lots, sides walks, and through gutters. They held up and it was the most fun I had skating outside. At first I was confined to the basketball court with my 98 wheels but with these I can go anywhere. Oh and they feel amazing on wood floors and polished surfaces like rinks. Such a great value too! My only complaint was that it was a bit hard to get the bearings in. It took effort because it was a snug fit. But if I could do it you can too. Just be sure not to dent your bearings when pushing them into the wheels. I used a skate tool as a blunt object to push them in. Good luck!
