Sure-Grip Boardwalk Outdoor Wheels

Love these wheels so much! I just ordered more because my daughter wants them, too. I have used them outside and indoors at my local rink.

Ive only been skating about 6 months and needed to upgrade. I was close to spending hundreds on new skates, I read the reviews and purchased these wheels instead and let me tell you, it made all the difference... They feel brand new and super smooth. The wheels that came with my cosmic skates used to squeek and were not really meant for outdoor. Im super happy with my purchase and the money I saved. I highly recommend these.

PART II - The 5/16 bolt / wheel that originally came with my new pair of skates is a 5/16” (corse thread) by 4” in length. Because the original wheels were significantly smaller, the original bolt was too small for the new wheels/bearings. I tried to locate a 4 1/2” long - 5/16” bolt and couldn’t find any after going to two different stores. I ended up buying a 5” long - 5/16” bolt. I purchased self locking nuts and adjusted them so that they were tight enough so that the wheels moved freely but tight enough. Bought new toe-stoppers, leather toe protectors and leather-markers (which haven’t yet arrived) to decor-out my skates! Called the Parks and Rec in our town and they are going to street-sweep the concrete trail - bike-walk-skate path in our town. So excited to decor-out my skates and get out there! Will follow up with a Part III when I actually get to skate.

They look good and work great for what I needed.

I just got my Boardwalk wheels in. They are pretty sick! I live in Louisiana so theyll get the ultimate outdoor test with these janky roads lol

I hate having to get in my car to drive my trash to the compactor. I could walk you say, it isnt that far away. But no! That would be too easy. I decided to take up roller skating. These wheels are fantastic. Theyre crystal clear with a consistent dye to them. While the ride down my street isnt smooth, it sure is a lot smoother than with my old rink wheels. 10/10 recommend

great wheel, decent price

Bought these for my nieces 14th birthday. I gave her a pair of Chaya skates, which were too big for my feet, but they fit her. They still had the awful hybrid wheels on them. She immediately complained about rolling over twigs and small pebbles outside, since thats where she rolls. I replaced her old wheels with these, and some Red Bones Bearings. She noticed the difference immediately! She skates every day outside, and has really enjoyed the smooth ride these wheels provide.

I wasnt sure I liked these at first. I used Bones Red for the bearings in these, and had to relearn to skate for the most part. I kept skating on, hoping they would grow on me because they do have a learning curve if you are not used to the stickiness and larger, wider wheels, like I was. After about 3 days skating on these, I finally fell in love, and now understand what everyone is saying about how smooth the ride is. Combined with the Reds and these wheels, they grip the tennis and basketball courts I usually skate. I hope these last a long time because combined with with the Reds, they were a third of the cost of my skates, but so worth it!
