Almost all of the doors at my parents house were a very tight squeeze to get through with a walker, until we had these installed throughout the house. What a difference they make!!!!!! We bought one in brass, but it was so much more expensive, and this bronze hinge looks very nice with the doors, so we settled on this for all of the other doors we had done. (Started with the bathrooms first.) Caregivers love the added room too!!

Gave us about another 3 on every door that we used them on. Much easier and cheaper than widening the doorways for wheelchair access.

This hinge allows the door to be flush with the doorway frame in order a walker or small wheelchair can enter the room. Did not have to widen the doorway.
