Definitely the answer for allowing a walker or chair to go through the doorway without hitting the door or door jams. Very well made.

These are absolute wonders if you have someone that ends up in a wheelchair and cant get thru the doorways due to the door, which was my situation when I got home from a double above knee amputation. I couldnt get into my bedroom door :( so it had to come off the hinges :(

These are well made offset hinges. My only objection was the ability for someone to pin punch out the hinge pivot pin. Had my son in law weld the pin ends. Since I am going to use these externally on the house. Still may not stop a determined individual it will show how an entry was made later. These will not fall apart now!

Perfect fit in the radiused corner recesses on the door and the door encasement. Might need to deepen the recesses on the door encasement, because sometimes when closing the door, the door wants to hit on the door knob side. Thus far though they look great and are doing the job. One thing I did notice was that they do need to be tight against the recesses on the door and the door encasement. You might need to fill the holes with artificial wood, let dry, and redrill the holes for the screws. If the screws are not tight, door will sag and hit opposite side when closing. This is what I have found. Ive installed 4 of these so far. The satin color looks nice too. My wife can now walk thru the 24 bathroom doors with her walker, where before I installed these, she had to turn it sideways to get through. These work better than widening the doorways. I would purchase again.

We have a small pantry that was built in a corner of our kitchen and the door wouldnt open fully because of another doorway. We shopped around and finally found these. Once my husband installed then the door opens more and I have a lot more access to the our pantry.

THESE HINGES WERE USED TO ALLOW BETTER WHEEL CHAIR ACCESS THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. BY REPLACING ORIGINAL DOOR HINGES WITH THESE ADA HINGES, IT COMPLETELY TAKES THE DOOR OUT OF THE DOOR JAM WHEN OPEN. INSTEAD OF BEING A CHOKE POINT; YOU GET AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 TO 2.0 INCHES OF EXTRA SPACE TO ACCESS WHEEL CHAIRS OR ROLLATORS. OUTSTANDING PRODUCT, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS ON THEIR RECENT HOME INSPECTION BEFORE RELEASING PATIENT TO HOME THERAPY WERE VERY IMPRESSED.
