We used this to widen the door so that mom could get her walker through. It works well, the door closes properly also.

We were hoping installing these my Mother-in-laws wheelchair would fit through the bathroom door but it didnt solve the problem.

This product needs to be easier to find and more affordable for those who need to modify home doorways to wheelchair accessibility.

Its very sturdy, installed quite easily and solved the problem of the too-narrow doorway (For a wheelchair/walker). It obviously hasnt withstood the time test, so maybe a year from now, I can up my rating to 5 stars.
