Greater than one weekAs a college student who was looking to upgrade from a jansport backpack, this is honestly a great backpack to get. It is pricy, but it was needed for lugging around some textbooks, and other essential school supplies. It’s practical since it’s comfortable, carries a lot of stuff, and it also looks very good. One of the things I was worried about was on how big the whole thing would look on me. I am not a fan of thick, bulky backpacks, and although this is not the thinnest backpack either, it certainly is not an eyesore sticking out. Very good plus. For those of you who are skinny and short as I am, this will work well for you, and should look neat and professional. Package arrived well and included the lock. Very easy to set up as well for other uses! Another awesome feature was the cold water bottle compartment that keeps your drinks at temperature, and of course the USB charging port on the strap is an added bonus that is convenient for the student or traveler on the go. I hooked mine up to an Anker portable charger and it works just great! The only downside for me was the sunglasses compartment. This pocket is for sunglasses but it’s a hard shell area pocket that sticks down to one of the compartments that I use to store my notebooks and textbooks. It only makes taking things out and putting things in a little awkward since there’s that bulge of a pocket in my way. Other than that though, totally worth a buy if you want a good backpack that is durable. I’ve only had it for a bit but it seems sturdy and only the test of time will show how well it really is.

> 3 dayExcellent backpack. Very thoughtful design. Many useful pockets. The shoe pocket also works for quick access to smaller travel bags that hold my laptop accessories or camera accessories. It’s nice to know that I always have access to a usb power bank via USB port on the backpack strap no matter where I go. Great thinking!

> 3 dayThis bag is great. Not huge and not small just the right size. Has a good amount of organization and compartments to keep things In their place. The old thing that would be better is if the keep cold zipper pouch was bigger. I can keep a tall red bull in there but a 1lt water bottle size would have been nice. Other than that I think this bag is perfect. Its my daily laptop backpack as I travel to different sites for work.

> 3 dayIm afraid Ill be losing things in this bag for the next couple years while I grow accustomed to its near magical abilities. Im not complaining, this bag for me holds two laptops, a full-size set of headphones in case, multiple chargers, battery backup pack, plus a million other things. It even has an insulated pocket for cold or hot stuff. What the hell?! If the next version has a microwave built-in I wouldnt be the least bit surprised. SwissGear really outdid themselves here. If youve got one of their older bags that is finally looking too battered over a decade of use (this is me), youll be amazed at the upgrade.

19-11-2024I got this to replace my husbands beloved backpack (that he uses for everything) after his finally fell apart. Ive been using a SwissGear backpack for years and it still looks new. Its all I use when I travel. So well appointed and sturdy. He wanted a blue one and this one is such a lovely blue shade. The trim and accents are all the same color which makes it look more professional imo. I will always buy SwissGear backpacks!

> 3 dayI used this backpack for traveling to Europe for a month, and it worked great. I took my laptop, Kindle, Ipod, headphones, and all of the electronic accessories. The back section lays out flat, but TSA still wants you to take the laptop out of the pack. The center compartment was great for storing a few clothes items. The front compartment was good for organizing various things, but could have had a few more pockets/pouches (baggies help organize). The very front side zip compartment was used for things you dont access very often. I stored things in baggies to make it easier to find things. I spent a lot of time looking online and this met my needs the most. Its also not too bulky if you dont overstuff it and can slide under the seat on the airplane.

> 3 dayAlright. This is my 3rd bag. In 3.5 years (2nd one had a manufacturer flaw, they replaced - NICELY!!!) Great Murse!!!! Yes, I stated Murse! Sturdy, durable, looks GREAT, beyond conventional, versatile......Over all perfect bag for todays Metrosexual!!! If there is a flaw, NOT waterproof @ all. I dont do rain, so non-issue for me. It will get wet & the contents inside. Be aware. Still perfect, though.
