VERY strong magnetic strength when pulled away from the attached surface, but its smaller magnet size makes lateral / sheering resistance somewhat poor. I can hang my jacket on this just fine, but my empty backpack makes the magnet slide. Despite the 30lb resistance, its lateral resistance is closer to 0.5 or 1lb on smooth metal surfaces (<0.5kg)

Doesn’t hold a cast iron skillet but it does hold up pretty well. It depends on the metal you put it on. Holds almost nothing on my cheap fridge, bummer because I wanted it to hold some pans. but works well on some metal shelves where I have them hold dog leashes, sweater, purse. Really useful actually! I was silly enough to get two stuck together when opening. Had to break one with a hammer!

Excellent product. Attached two to my Weber grill table for hanging tools, etc. Ill use the other two in my garage. Very strong magnet will hold a lot of weight. The hangers move in all directions including swivel and up and down. I may find more uses and buy some more. Seller provided quick and well packaged shipping.

Small and strong

These hold great if using perpendicular to the surface. Bought as coat hooks for my cubicle at work. When I used it on a vertical surface, my coat just slid down the surface. Hanging from a horizontal surface, it holds great.

Hed hold my utensils on my Traeger grill better than anything Ive tried so far good product

These work great with my BBQ grill to hold all the grill tools. They look nice and have plenty of magnetic power.

Update 8/10/18: Im upping my rating as the magnets might perform as advertised under better circumstances, but the metal thickness on the side of my fridge is apparently not such that they can support their full capacity. Additionally, the vendor has excellent customer service and fully refunded my order when I could not use it as intended. If youre going to attempt to hold up anything heavier than a set of potholders on your fridge though, Id recommend purchasing the next strength up but Im giving them an A+ on keeping the customer satisfied. Original review: These have a decent magnet on them but not nearly as strong as advertised. I realize the strength is reduced by shear force, but they wouldn’t hold up a 2 lb broom and I could easily pull them straight off the fridge. I ended up having to use adhesive. Neat, but I wouldn’t buy again.

I have these outside holding up solar lights against a chain-link fence. They do not rust, and they adhere extremely well despite the weather.

If youre looking for strong magnetic hooks....you found them! Our family hangs our key chains on them and have had no problem. Highly recommend!
