> 24 hourIn a 2230 form factor this SSD preforms nicely. I was able to get over 450MB/s reading and 214MB/s writing on my SSD reader. The SSD comes in a nice box with an antistatic bag around it. The upgrade kit also comes with a small screw as well as a screw driver so you have the tools to upgrade an existing system. The SSD is small so just be sure its the right SSD form factor for your computer or laptop. It seems to be well made without any defects that I could see as well as the solder joints on the board also look to be of high quality. Overall I would recommend this as a good upgrade or any system.

> 24 hourThis SSD works great on a Surface Pro 8. Its a gen3 drive but it performs at the upper level of the gen3 spec. Im getting 3200 MB/s read and 2600 MB/s write speed, thats much faster than the stock drive that came with it. Its a very lower power SSD, only drawing 5mw when idle. This translates to 7.5 hour web browsing at 50% brightness, and lowest backlight setting on the keyboard and 60HZ refresh rate. Gen4 SSD drives have a compatibility problem where you need to modify a registry setting to get them to work., they are more power hungry too and battery life is approximately 1.5hours less than this ssd. This ssd works without resorting to any registry hacks.

> 24 hourI wish I had gotten a larger model but this thing absolutely performs up to spec. And the most amazing thing about it is whatever they are using for thermal management is works very well and it never gets nearly as hot as my other SSD drives. That’s a tremendous bonus. I guess because this is made to go into specific gaming devices they need a stricter thermal management system. For now I’m just using it in a portable enclosure. Because that enclosure has a heat sink I can feel the heat come through the case and I’m not feeling a lot with this drive, even when it’s in continuous operation for a while. I’m gonna end up putting this in a custom music player as storage. It will be much more responsive than an SD card and it will still have very small power consumption and not put out much heat. And it will transfer music many times faster than flash cards. I typically would not buy SSD from names I don’t recognize. But so far this thing is working well and I will keep the review updated to let people know if there were any problems going forward. But for now I’m pretty impressed with this.

> 24 hourI put this inside a laptop (hence no photos to add to this review) and its working quite nicely. I cannot quite say anything to its longevity, which would probably be the most important element for a device like this after speed, but if it works for like 4 years I will be pretty happy. Its very fast for me personally. It boots into Linux in 4 seconds. Just make sure that the motherboard you attach it to supports the form factor. The naming for these form factors is pretty terrible, but its not the manufacturers fault, just something to pay attention to.
