> 3 dayThe TOBS line is the probably the best shaving cream available for the money. Ive used Mr. Taylor for years, as well as the Almond, Sandlewood and other scents. I switched to Sensitive Skin recently and was not disappointed. All TOBS creams are pretty much equally thick lather, so for me it just comes down to differences in smell. The Sensitive Skin has a slightly silkier consistency than the older shave creams in the TOBS line. I have not used the Eton variety, so cant speak to its qualities. I would describe the smell of Sensitive Skin as more reminiscent of a modern, high-end cologne smell (though very subtle and not overpowering). It is a crisp, clean smell. To me, the TOBS Mr. Taylor is more like a traditional old man barber shop smell (I absolutely love it too), while the Sandlewood smells like sweet spicy leather and the Almond smells to me literally like an almond, or perhaps the cherry almond smell you find in the shampoo and handsoap of some old-fashioned hotels. I love all of these fragrances, and they remind me of the old traditional barber shops and clubs of London. The only one Im not extremely fond of is Rose, which in my admittedly limited experience smelt more like an old aunt than a rugged old man smell. Great products all, will use them for life -- you really cant go wrong.

> 3 dayI dont like perfume-y scents. This has a wonderfully light soapy and even lighter gentle musky scent. Both my boyfriend and I use this to shave, since its a pleasant scent for both men and women. You dont need much of this to shave! I take about a nickel to quarter size amount, add a little water and lather it up with my boar bristle brush for about 2 minutes. It lathers tremendously - you just have to be willing to spend a full minute or more whipping it up!

> 3 dayAnother wonderful feeling cream which smells great too. Nice lather which makes your razor glide over your skin. Great for sensitive skin like mine. My new favorite. I will definitely buy this one again!!!

> 3 dayI really like this; lather up with a good badger brush and give a really good shave. One of these will last about a year (it odes for me) with daily shaving so is an incredible value. Lathers well, smells good.

> 3 dayI was staring at the Sandlewood cream for a long time, and what made me try this was people saying the scent was very much like a cologne. Its true! Its an amazing scent, and it meshes perfectly with the Curve for Men cologne I wear. If this smell came in a bottle you could spray on, Id probably wear it. My skin is also very prone to razorburns, and it has certainly helped that with my Mercer. If you wipe it off with a bathroom tissue until its not visible, I like it best. Soothes the skin and the scent lasts. My best lathers with it are 6:1 to 7:1 ratio with a 1/4 teaspoon. A 1/8th would probably do fine, but I do two passes and have a big face.
