> 3 dayIn case you are trying to compare this gun with the HF offerings, I have their HVLP gun costing about 30 dollars more than this one. There is no comparison in performance between the two. This TCP Global gun comes with a regulator to attach directly to the gun, which honestly I didnt think I would like, but it works great and is not in the way. The spray pattern and atomization achieved with the TCP gun is far superior also. Most of what I spray is shellac, varnish and lacquer, but occasionally will spray oil based paint. The light coatings are a pleasure to spray, and cover evenly and quickly without orange peel or runs. Im sure there are better guns, but for this price point, I would buy this one again in a heart beat.

> 3 dayI’m using this gun to spray PPG VP2050 high build epoxy primer. It atomizes well, and lays down a nice even coat with a 1.8 tip. Used it to paint a 1979 MGB. If you have job like this in mind this gun and regulator will do a nice job.

> 3 dayThis is my 3rd Aeropro (TCP GLOBAL) gun that I bought and use. I have a 1.3mm, 2.5mm, and now this 1.4mm. All work very well. This one, the 1.4mm sprays down the base very well. In order to minimize any orange peel you just need to be a little further away from the panel and move fairly quickly across it as well. Im spraying at 2 bar. Product Im spraying is Valspar auto paint. I can honestly say that these guns work very well for the price you pay. Good results come from good technique. The guns spray just fine. If you are having issues, practice more with finding the right settings for what YOU are spraying with. All materials sprayed need to have their own settings. There is no Universal one setting works for everything. Different thickness, different consistency requires you to find the best air flow /fluid flow settings.

> 3 dayIve used HVLP airless systems (Graco 495) in the past and there is not much to compare this gun to the output of an airless. It worked fine for spraying a cabinet and it produced a nice even finish, but required multiple passes for proper coverage. I would not recommend this to paint a room or anything large. I did have to dilute the latex paint by 5% to get a better output. I have not tried removing the built in strainer, but if you filter your paint before or while loading the reservoir you can likely get better output if you remove the strainer. If you have a compressor capable of 5 CFM and wanted a cheap solution for a smooth paint finish, this is the cheapest way to go. If you do not have a compressor with those capabilities you will be better off with an airless system based on overall cost. The instructions are limited, but I have no complaints on the fit/finish and serviceability of the gun.

> 3 dayThis thing came dialed in and awesome.. much better than the $20 harbor gun just sayin. Used the 2.0 tip, did some primer and looks much smoother consistent coats

> 3 dayGun worked fine but upon cleaning I noticed a crack in the fluid joint. When I tried to remove the fluid joint for cleaning it would not budge. Likely cracked due to over torquing during assembly. Never seen this happen in 30 years. Ordered another.

Greater than one weekIve never used an HVLP gun before, but after researching and learning how others do it, I had no problems using this gun. The only thing I would say, it did have a very small leak and I dont know where its coming from yet. I sprayed a oil based polyurethane mix and it did a good job. Ill probably never use a brush again after learning how to use a sprayer.
