> 3 dayWell, this thing is kind of a bummer because I guess I wanted the whole package. USB 3.0 is supposed to get you up to 640mbps speed, but when I run this thing with my ethernet and an external hard drive plugged in, the internet just doesnt work. Something overloads it. I do get a full gigabit of speed wired with this, but the hub is kind of useless except maybe for flash drives. I ordered 2 of these and had the same results. I think you need an externally powered USB 3.0 hub for your computer in order to use this hub, which is just kind of goofy. My External hard drives are both AC powered as well and this device still cant run an external hard drive + the ethernet. I tried it on my Dell XPS laptop and I think it works ok with my drives, cant recall right now. On my HP though it doesnt work out, even though my USB 3.0 Sabrent and Amazon usb hubs work fine. Overall its a cheap chinese product thats great for flash drives and ethernet, but dont expect the full package like I did unless your USB ports can output a high power. Maybe this is a fault on my end and the product will be great for everyone else.

> 3 dayI like the nice thin modern look of it. It works great, no problems.

> 3 dayConstant disconnects after only a few months of use. Needs to be replaced. Would never recommend to anyone who doesnt like throwing away money.

> 3 dayI get same throughput from my fiber gig connection with this Type B connector, as I did with my USB-C Ethernet adapter. Which is about 900+Mbps up or down, depending on the WAN traffic. So its fine. But plug in a headphone and webcam and mic into the three USB slots, and start to stream video/audio for a ZOOM and the throughput drops about 150-200Mbps. Thats fine, but just be aware that when you share low bandwidth devices like audio or even video packets, this disrupts the flow of the gigabit stream and will cause a hit. Overall I am satisfied and will keep this.

> 3 dayI got a truly remarkable deal on a sub-$200 laptop that works far better than I had hoped or anticipated. But it had no wired ethernet. Im a big fan of high speed connections and nothing is faster than hard-wired. This solved my problem quickly, easily, and reliably. Recommended.

> 3 dayEasy to use, just plugged it in and it worked with no noticeable slowdown in performance. Im only using one of the USB ports for a mouse so not sure if using all the ports would be different but it works for my needs.
