> 24 hourThis is an Easy to use and relatively inexpensive sanding pad. I used it on 2 car repairs a picnic table and garage door, so far. Just keep in mind that a grinder probably spins around 2 times as fast as a sander / polisher. Take it slow. If you run full speed youre going to burn it up...

> 24 hourFits standard grinders. Holds hook-and-loop paper well. Works very aggressively to shape and remove wood. Works much better than a random orbit sander for aggressive sanding as the grinder is designed for it. Buy this and save your random orbit sander for actual finish work; I ruined a really nice ROS using it for shaping.

My Opinion
> 24 hourFor bowl sanding, I am powering with a Milwaukee 8 amp, 1/2 inch drill @ 850 rpm and running lathe @ 175 to 200 rpm, using discs from Mirka. You will also need 5/8 11 Male Drill Sanding Attachment Arbor Shaft Adapter. The upside is, sanding can be done in a hurry. The downside is, there is so much dust, you MUST have a good dust extractor and need full face respirator. I use Trend Airshield Pro which does the job nicely.
