> 24 hourDries out very quickly and doesnt even seal properly. Seems to cultivate all sorts of nastiness even had some tiny bugs appear when I left the thing over the weekend all closed up and sealed- super gross. Going back to my homemade tupperware container.

> 24 hourI bought two, one for me and one for my other half. We tried a different brand as a starter and I didnt like it. But when I bought this, omg I highly recommend it! Its really nice and works well with citadel paints and the like. Just remember not to use metallic or washes lol

> 24 hourDefinitely helps the paint stay fresh much longer. One detail was that the paper sheets are smaller than the sponge, so its easy to accidentally get paint on the sponge towards the edges

> 24 hourGreat to save your colors for about 48hrs so you can come back to a project where you left off. Tip 1: Keep on a level surface when storing. It states this in instructions. If not, due to water, colors will run inside. Tip 2: I put a black dot of paint, a dot of color of choice, and a dot of white, spaced out on a single row. I repeat for each color. Then you can blend the black and color to create a dark shade that’s perfect and again with the color and white for a lighter shade that’s perfect. The water helps them blend great and smooth. Paint a dark shade on figure first, then the normal shade on more risen areas that would catch light, finally the light shade for hard edges. Then get a very watery mix off the edge of your main color and paint over the whole area to lightly tint area and blend all the shades. Do this for each color/section. Works for me. Price is a little steep but worth it for the long run if you will painting a lot in the future.

> 24 hourExcellent aesthetically, but lukewarm design effort. Dont get me wrong, it works as a wet palette but leaves a couple things to be desired. First, the palette doesnt seal. You read that correctly...it doesnt seal. Its held closed with an elastic strap. Not a problem, but it has no rubberized seal to keep the water from rapidly evaporating and the paint from rapidly drying out. Somewhat of an easy fix: stretch a piece of plastic wrap over the paint/wet chamber before closing the top and strapping it shut. The question is...why should I have to? Bargain store plastic ware can achieve an almost airtight seal on a sandwich box at a cost of pennies. Why not here?? Second, the brush holders, conveniently located inside the palette itself, dont hold brushes in place; unless, of course, they are the Army Painter triangle-handled brushes, and even then mine slip and slide. Not cool, especially if I want to securely carry my W&N #7s. Easy fix: stick a piece of soft foam across the inside of the lid. But theres that nagging question again, Why should I have to? Positives? Yep. Looks cool! When in use, functions great as a wet palette. Great size. Easy to use. Ill continue to use it, but it sure could use a couple of upgrades.
