> 3 dayIve generally enjoyed using this wet palette, but...well, frankly, the hydro foam is much worse than standard paper towels and the hydro sheets are much worse than standard parchment paper. The case is super nifty though. See, the problem with the hydro garbage this is designed to use: given a day or two, Army Painter paints bleed back through the hydro-sheets into the hydro-foam. Youd think theyd have tested this with their own paints at least! But it doesnt seem so. To make things even more odd, the pattern (pictured) doesnt even correspond with the paints I was using! The purple on the right-hand side? I wasnt painting with purple. The only yellow I was painting with was on the lower left, but it seems to have migrated everywhere. Same with the orange. Even worse, it seems like it has also become a bit of a petri dish for something or another--this hardly seems antimicrobial! I have to wonder if the colors here are even from the paints or if some weird bacteria or mold is actually producing pigment inside of the foam. (But perhaps its just different pigments in the same paint migrating at different rates, like in chromatography.) And, worse, I havent a clue how to clean out this stinking foam! All-in-all, this is a great little wet palette case, but the foam and sheets are really not up to the task. Im going to have to see if I cant make this baby work with something else, because I really like the case at least and would rather not go back to using my old tupperware wet palette.

> 3 dayThis wet palette is solid, and it comes with good paper and excellent sponges. It is perfect for traveling with brushes and paint.

Greater than one weekI recently moved over to The Army Painter line fully and am happy I did as everything is so well done. The how to books they give you with all purchases are fantastic and really help out, especially for a noob like me. I love the design of this pallet, having the bottom layer for the hydro sheets with your paints, the middle layer that can hold your brushes and is itself a small paint pallet, then the top layer that closes down to keep it airtight. Plus its on the smaller side which I prefer. Overall great design and it works perfectly for what I need.

14-04-2025Worked on her last night. She was a ‘cultist’ originally formed with a staff, but having lost it in transit I decided to paint her as a druid. Her clothes colors were from other sets, but the Army Painter Warpaints ‘Tanned Flesh’ was perfect for her face! The sunkissed quality it lends this is so spot on! As but a beginning mini painter, I can already see a long and happy future relationship developing with this paint manufacturer. Thank you!!

> 3 dayIm not really taken with this thing. At first I thought it was very cool, but the sponge sucks, the papers do not wick well, and paints still dry out on the palette if you keep going for too long. There are much better wet palette kits for much less... Including just making your own.
