> 24 hourSaw several You Tube reviews of wet palattes and decided to make the plunge. Price here was better than my local game store. Very happy with purchase. Ive been using this for about 3 or 4 months now. Still on the first sponge. I take it out, wring out the water, and wash it with Dawn dish soap and rinse well every so often. Paint will seep through the papers if you leave them on there a long time, so dont assume discoloration is mold. It probably isnt. Added a bit of copper wire to prevent that problem, no issues so far. Papers last 3-4 days or more depending on what color paint Im using (some colors seperate more than others). Havent tried making my own papers yet, havent even gone through half what comes with the palette yet but have heard the Army Painter papers are superior than parchment paper cut to size. I kept the plastic box it comes in to store the papers and spare sponge, glad I did! Very happy with this purchase. Superior to the sandwich tupperware box I was using hands down.

> 24 hourThis product is fantastic at keeping your paint wet for daaaaays. I was looking for a small wet pallet because I don’t have a ton of desk space and this pallet is WONDERFUL! It fits perfectly in my small working space and as you can see by the photo, my paints are nice and workable (they’ve been on the pallet for 3+ days now) there’s also a nifty tray for holding tools and brushes, or mixing if you’d really like. It’d be great for traveling as well. Lastly, it’s a great price as far as wet pallets go, it arrived quickly, and was super easy to use. It even came with a bunch of extra disposable pallet sheets and an extra sponge! 10/10 would be again.

> 24 hourThis palette works very well if you are planning on painting over the course of just a few days. I would not recommend this palette for people who only paint once a week because this palette does not keep paints wet for that long. HOWEVER, it is a wonderful palette to use while actually painting. The sponge and paper are fantastic, and its easy to clean. My only gripe is that it just is not as air tight as Id like, and its quite small!

> 24 hourIt absolutely keeps paint fresh for reuse and thereby saves money on paint, by not wasting what would normally dry out before it could be used.

> 24 hourIve generally enjoyed using this wet palette, but...well, frankly, the hydro foam is much worse than standard paper towels and the hydro sheets are much worse than standard parchment paper. The case is super nifty though. See, the problem with the hydro garbage this is designed to use: given a day or two, Army Painter paints bleed back through the hydro-sheets into the hydro-foam. Youd think theyd have tested this with their own paints at least! But it doesnt seem so. To make things even more odd, the pattern (pictured) doesnt even correspond with the paints I was using! The purple on the right-hand side? I wasnt painting with purple. The only yellow I was painting with was on the lower left, but it seems to have migrated everywhere. Same with the orange. Even worse, it seems like it has also become a bit of a petri dish for something or another--this hardly seems antimicrobial! I have to wonder if the colors here are even from the paints or if some weird bacteria or mold is actually producing pigment inside of the foam. (But perhaps its just different pigments in the same paint migrating at different rates, like in chromatography.) And, worse, I havent a clue how to clean out this stinking foam! All-in-all, this is a great little wet palette case, but the foam and sheets are really not up to the task. Im going to have to see if I cant make this baby work with something else, because I really like the case at least and would rather not go back to using my old tupperware wet palette.

> 24 hourThis thing is awesome! Its a simple design but definitely helps keep your paint workable for long stretches. This saves so much paint overall, and enhances your models since it helps keep the pigments from getting too clumpy on your brush and hopefully your model which leads to nice even coats of perfect consistency. The rest is up to the artist! The only thing I use a regular paint palette for anymore is washes.
