The Elf on the Shelf Girl Light, Red and White

This was the first year that I used her. My 6 year old got a kick out of her. A few times we forgot to move her and had to make up why she didnt move.

For the price of this, I expected it to be flawless when it arrived. Unfortunately the box was dented on the corner, as if it was dropped before shipping. The book inside the box was also crinkled on one corner, and it was very noticeable. The elf is extremely hard to position and her hands came sewn together. If I had it to do over again, I would have just purchased it locally.

I love that the elf comes in different colors. To see my kid light up when she looks for where shes hiding now. Its sweer

Be prepared to get an elf with no feet. My granddaughter noticed this and felt very sorry for him. The book cover shows an elf with pointy feet, however, the pictures in the description show a footless elf (so it is not a defect). For the price, this cute little elf should have pointy feet at the end of his dangly legs! It looks odd being footless. (We plan to set out a little pair of elf shoes for him.)

we drank the coolaid. Just remember to move it. But it is fun and scared the hell out of my smallest the first night. fun for you too. 4-8 yrs.

Super cute elf!! Every kid should have of course haha!! It was a bit pricey.

I had no idea it doesn’t come bendable. Also once you cut the string between the hands off, it’s tough for it to grab things. There are instructions on YouTube how to add wire to bend and velcro for hands but I’m not crafty. A little disappointed.

The book is excellent and the grandkids love reading it to me almost every night…the two year old loves the pictures. She seats on the chair and waits for her 5 year old brother to read it. We read a book every night, but they like the story being that it’s Christmas they read it every night…lol
