One of the best movies ever. Pure fun, comedy, fantasy. A must see.

I remembered this movie from when I was younger. I ordered to see if my kids and grandkids would like it too. They loved it! We watched it 3 times in one day!

The movie has become a classic, but it loses something in the Blu-Ray mastering. The images are somewhat grainy, no doubt owing to the differences in what was film quality when it was filmed and the definition allowed by Blu-Ray today. The graininess doesnt detract from the story but can be disappointing to watch.

I wouldnt want to be with a woman who hadnt seen The Princess Bride. I was happy when my girlfriend had not only seen the movie, she also had all the lines memorized. It took a while to get my kids to watch the movie. When they watched it, they did like it. We even played The Princess Bride board game, as a family, while we watched it. I also have awesome memories of watching this movie with my sister when we were kids. Its a classic, must see! It also has the best sword fighting scene of all time. As a child (and adult) Ive reenacted the sword fighting scene a million times while saying, I’m not left-handed either.”
