one of the best films ever.

While Ive seen this movie many times, Ive never owned it until now (blu-ray). What an amazing job the studio did with this blu-ray version. Visual and audio quality are superb. No aged film elements anywhere. HD Sound is fantastic, and the special features were numerous and exhaustive. I especially liked having some of the actors and the director come back to do a retrospective on the film. You cant lose with this edition if youve never owned it before (definitely a worthwhile upgrade from the DVD version). If youre wondering about the 4 stars? Well, I rarely give anything 5 stars unless it is perfect. This movie is great, but few in my book are perfect.

The Princess Bride is one of the greatest movies ever made. That story, that dialogue, that perfect cast, those performances, that magic: wonderful.

Absolutely no debate, this is a must have movie. If you havent seen this movie, I am deeply disappointed in you. You should redeem yourself and buy this gem.

A fun, entertaining, multi-generational treat.

Great for a 3rd grader. My daughter loved it. Only rough spot is toward the end--swordfight is kinda violent for a kid not used to that sort of thing
