The Vented Urban Brolly Hunter Green

The thin pieces that hold the closed umbrella are too long. There are two of them. Especially the thicker one hangs very long from the umbrella. Oddly they are not shown in the pictures. I like the whole design and the materials.

I did receive an umbrella... But there was a hole in the material and when I opened it 2 of the ribs bent very easily. Defeats the purpose of an umbrella, wouldnt you say?? Called customer service for a refund the day I received it! Dont waist your time or money on the product!

Most umbrellas have a low dome & lack headroom - which seems like an obvious must-have in umbrella design - assuming you want to stay dry & see where you’re walking.

This is a great product, but this one we received yesterday was broken on arrival so we are returning it.

The umbrella is a quintessentially English accessory. For a long time I bought them in London, but now I rarely travel to that wonderful city, I searched in this universal store that is Amazon and found this magnificent umbrella at an incredibly low price and with such a genuine appearance that it seems made in England. Since sometimes I forget my umbrella in taxis or other places, the price is important. So I found the best of both worlds a very cheap but high end looking accessory.

Works fine for now. Very lightweight umbrella for the size. Classic look. Good value.

Actually ordered this umbrella for a stage scene of C. S. Lewiss Lion, Witch & Wardrobe, featuring the umbrella that the character Mr. Tumnus carried. It seemed closest to what we needed. Its a lovely umbrella, lightweight, with a cover when the umbrella is furled.

I bought mine in the late 70’s and replacing it now. Lasted 40 some years. Probably could have a couple of small tears fixed and be good as new. It’s not just for urban work. I use it for rain gear while back packing. Everyone else puts on rain ponchos ( sweaty hot) but most rain lasts 5-30 min. The brolly covers head and pack. Also is a deterrent to animals. Scares them to death when you walk toward, pumping the umbrella. Bears included. After forty years I feel lost without it.

Wood handles

Sorry to say this but the wood topper came off within one day of owning it. This item is nice visually but didnt stand up in durability at all. Its been returned.
